CNN to Voters: “Stay Off Social Media,” “Trust Us Here” Instead

Hey guys, CNN has a message for those of you who are concerned about any potential issues facing the current midterm elections:

Stay off social media.

That’s right, CNN’s Jon King delivered this advice to all 12 of CNN’s viewers:

“Stay off social media.” If you’re concerned about voting issues, “trust your local officials. Trust us here.”

CNN wants you to trust them…

That’s rich!

I’m not going to tell anyone here what to do though…

If you really want to trust CNN, go for it.

Tell me how it works out:

Here’s the transcript of King’s conversation with Jake Tapper from Real Clear Politics:

JON KING, CNN: Stay off social media, people. If you’re trying to figure out if there are really issues with voting, trust your local officials and trust us here. Trust a news source you know and trust to be honest about this. They’re doing their jobs and doing it right.

Georgia did a good job counting votes in 2020. It will do a very good job tonight, whether at the county level or statewide level. If polls are being left open or if they’re doing some things it’s because something little happened. Somebody had a problem with their password, like happens to us every day at the office right?

JAKE TAPPER: Running out of ink in Maricopa County.

JON KING: Running out of ink! Life happens, even in elections, but you have to trust people.

For some strange reason, people aren’t taking CNN’s advice seriously…

I wonder why?:

Okay fine…

If CNN says so, I suppose I’ll trust the polls that they released earlier today:
