True The Vote Founders JAILED

We no longer live in a free society…

True the Vote founders, Catherine Engelbrecht and Gregg Phillips, have been reportedly jailed for contempt of court; Engelbrecht and Phillips’ only crime?

Refusing to give up a whistleblower and a key source…

The organization claimed that Konnech, an election software company, was storing sensitive information on servers in China; a claim that Konnech Chief Executive Eugene Yu has denied.

In response to the claims, Konnech sued True the Vote.

As part of the ongoing lawsuit, the judge wanted Engelbrecht and Phillips to divulge the names of their sources, yet both declined to do so, citing ongoing harassment and targeting of previous sources they have named.

Outrage seemed to be the overwhelming response among conservatives:

According to The Texas Tribune:

The judge informed the pair they would face jail time if they do not comply with the terms of a court order by Monday at 9 a.m.

“I expect both defendants to be present,” said U.S. District Judge Kenneth Hoyt, a Ronald Reagan appointee, looking at their table. Marshals, he said, would be ready to arrest them.

President Trump went on to ask why Engelbrecht and Phillips were jailed when the SCOTUS leaker has not even been named…

Could they have stumbled upon claims of election fraud?

Western Journal provided this statement from Engelbrecht:

“Every name I give you gets doxxed and harassed. I know what happened to Mike after his name was released and he’s in hiding,” she said referring to a man named Mike Hasson whose name was divulged, but no other information about him was given.

She and Phillips said a second person at a key meeting at which information was shared was a “confidential informant” for the FBI. Neither would give that individual’s name.
