Democrats have an uphill battle in store for them this election.
In Florida, that battle may be insurmountable for them, a they currently sit at a huge disadvantage to republicans.
In newly registered voters, Florida republican have a 9-1 advantage over democrats.
Since Friday, more than 5.28 million republicans are now registered to vote.
That number is up by 86,376 since the August primary.
Meanwhile, the number of registered democrat voters sits at 4.97 million, which is up by only 9,380 since August.
Republicans also have the advantage in early voting as well.

Newly registered Republicans outnumber Democrats 9-to-1 in Florida ahead of the midterm elections, spelling trouble for President Biden’s party in key races.
Florida has 5.28 million registered Republicans ahead of the Nov. 8 contest, an increase of 86,376 from the number of Republicans registered at the time of the August primary, according to the South Florida Sun-Sentinel.
By contrast, Democrats have 4.97 million registered voters, an uptick of 9,380.

There are a number of data points indicating broad gains for Republicans in Florida this midterm cycle, including a huge 9-to-1 advantage when it comes to registering new voters in the months leading up to Nov. 8.
As of Friday, there were more than 5.28 million registered Republicans in Florida compared to 4.97 million Democrats. Those numbers represent 86,376 more Republicans than those registered to vote in the August primary, compared to an increase of just 9,830 Democrats across the same time frame.
It looks like Florida may not be a swing state anymore…

1,173,014 Florida Republicans have voted, compared to 1,077,263 Democrats. That's 95,751 more Republican voters so far. Republicans took the lead last Thursday and have continued to expand it. Big reversal from 2020, when Democrats led at this point, and up until Election Day.
