Everything is bigger in Texas and that includes Trump’s rallies!

President Trump is set to speak at his rally in Robstown, Texas this Saturday evening at around 7:00 pm

Trump is making the visit to Texas to show his support for Republican Mayra Flores who is fighting for the 34th District for the House of Respresantives.

Several speakers have already taken the stage at the rally and his supporters have already packed out the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds.

President Donald Trump is in Robstown on Saturday for a rally at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds.

An advisory from Trump’s Save America PAC for the event said Trump would speak “in support of his unprecedented effort to advance the MAGA agenda by energizing voters” and highlight his 33-0 endorsement record in the state’s primaries and runoffs earlier this year.

Five high-profile guest speakers are set to join Trump during the rally, including Texas Lt. Gov. Dan Patrick, Attorney General Ken Paxton and U.S. Rep Michael Cloud, R-Victoria.

Gov. Greg Abbott, who is seeking a third term in the November election, said in a statement that he will not be in attendance because he’ll be at a campaign event in Florida.

Robstown was likely chosen as a destination because at least two South Texas congressional districts that have been Democratic strongholds for generations are considered to be in play.

Newsweek had these details to report:

Trump is due to hold a rally in southern Texas on Saturday night, as the Republicans aim to make inroads in what had been reliably Democratic Party territory.

The event will take place in Robstown, Nueces County, less than three weeks before the crunch midterm elections on November 8.

Competitive votes are expected in Texas’ 15th and 34th Districts for the House of Representatives.

The 34th District sees GOP House member Mayra Flores, who won her seat during a special election held in June, locked in a tough battle with Democrat Vicente Gonzalez.

Also in play is the 15th District, which Gonzalez used to represent before jumping over to the 34th District after boundaries were redrawn.
