The war against Christianity has been going on for centuries.

America at one point in time was safe haven for Christians but it appears those tables have turned in the last decade.

A California childcare worker was recently fired for refusing to read books about gay/trans couples.

Nelli Parisenkova was previously employed at Bright Horizon’s Children’s Center in Los Angeles but when she stood up for her faith she was canned.

Parisenkova will now sue her former school for wrongful termination.

A California childcare worker sued her former employer last week for allegedly mistreating and terminating her due to her objection to reading books that feature gay couples to children.

Nelli Parisenkova was employed for four years, caring for children aged five and younger at Bright Horizons Children’s Center in Los Angeles, according to the complaint she filed Thursday with the Superior Court of California, reported Fox News.

Parisenkova, who is being represented by the conservative Catholic law firm Thomas More Society, claims that at first, she had not been required to read literature with LGBT themes to the children in her care – that changed when the director of the center discovered her religious beliefs.

According to the complaint, when director Katy Callas discovered Parisenkova’s “devout Christian” beliefs, she refused her employee’s requests to give her a religious accommodation to refrain from promoting such books and created a hostile work environment that ultimately led to her termination.

The complaint explained how forcing Parisenkova to read books about same-sex relationships “would violate her religious beliefs and constitute promotion of intimate relationships and choices that are contrary to the teachings of her faith.”

A California childcare teacher sued her former employer last week after she was allegedly terminated and mistreated because of her religious objection to reading books to children featuring same-sex couples.

Nelli Parisenkova, who is being represented by lawyers with the Thomas More Society, worked four years at Bright Horizons Children’s Center in Studio City and cared for children aged five and younger, according to the complaint she filed Thursday in the Superior Court of California.

The lawsuit claims Parisenkova was aware of such LGBT-themed material at the Studio City location of the largest childcare company in the U.S., but at first had not been required to read them. Founded in 1986, Bright Horizons has hundreds of locations worldwide and employs more than 26,000 people.
