Whatever happened to “asking not what your country can do for you, but what you could do for your country”?
We recently reported that the Senator from Nebraska, Ben Sasse, is likely resigning from politics to pursue a potential job at the University of Florida…
Sasse has never exactly been a fan of President Trump and he was one of the few Republicans who voted to impeach him.

The Post Millennial reports:
“I want to be clear here: this is a process that will take time, so the resignation will not take effect today.
The process will be announced today, and I am told to expect the resignation to actually be made official in December,” Swanson said in a tweet.

According to Politico:
Nebraska Gov. Pete Ricketts would then appoint a replacement for Sasse under state law, with the seat then up for a special election in 2024.
One of the people familiar with Sasse’s plans said Ricketts himself is viewed as a potential appointee for the seat.
