Trump Threatens To Sue Fox News, Here’s Why

President Trump has threatened to sue Fox News.

Trump has stated that he plans to sue both Fox News and the Lincoln Project for false advertisements.

The Lincoln Project is a political organization that is run by a bunch of never-Trumpers and was founded by John Weaver who has been accused of sexually assaulting young men.

After Trump noticed the Lincoln Project was running negative ads about him, Trump took to Truth Social and stated “The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News. I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign.”.

He followed it by saying ” See you in court”.

This morning on Truth Social, Trump threatened to file a lawsuit against Fox News over airing ads on their network from The Lincoln Project. He said the Lincoln Project “should not be allowed to 'false advertise,' and Fox News should not allow it to happen. See you all in Court!”

Donald Trump threatened legal action against Fox News on Thursday in response to an ad from the conservative Lincoln Project.

The former president wrote on Truth Social, his social media platform, that he would see the network and, apparently, the Lincoln Project “in Court” and blamed them for supposed “false advertis[ing]”.

As with his previous criticism of the network, Mr Trump’s statement once again targeted former House Speaker Paul Ryan, a conservative critic of his who supported impeachment after the Jan 6 riot and now sits on the Fox Corporation’s board of directors.

“The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News. I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016,” said the ex-president in his rambling post.

“The Paul Ryun run Fox only has high standards for ’Trump’ ads, but not for anyone else. The Perverts should not be allowed to ’false advertise,’ and Fox News should not allow it to happen. See you all in Court!!!” he added.

“The Perverts and Lowlifes of the Lincoln Project are back on, where else, Fox News. I thought they ran away to the asylum after their last catastrophic campaign, with charges made against them that were big time sleaze, and me getting many millions more votes in 2020 than I got in 2016,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.

“The Paul Ryun [sic] run Fox only has high standards for ‘Trump’ ads, but not for anyone else,” he continued. “The Perverts should not be allowed to ‘false advertise,’ and Fox News should not allow it to happen. See you all in Court!!!”

The New York Daily News pointed to a recent Lincoln Project ad entitled “Sucker” which warned Trump’s supporters that he doesn’t care about winning back the White House. Trump did not directly reference the ad.
