ILLINOIS INSANE: New Law Will Release Second-Degree Murder Suspects Without Bail

What are they thinking?!

You would think that state leaders would want to make your state SAFER, right?

Isn’t that the goal and purpose of government?

To protect and serve the people?

Then why is the state government in Illinois passing a law that will RELEASE second-degree murder suspects without bail?

This means that murder suspects will be free to roam the streets without any consequences.

Not only does that mean more danger on the streets…

But this actively encourages criminals.

How?

Well, now criminals don’t have to face the immediate consequences.

So again, we ask:

What are they thinking?!

Folks, is this what the American people really want?

Because this is exactly what you get time and time again when you vote for Democrats.

It makes no sense why they do these sorts of things.

The according to the CBS local KFVS12 News:

Come January 1, 2023, the State of Illinois is set to eliminate the cash bail system.

However, southern Illinois lawmakers and law enforcement say it could make communities more dangerous.

“I believe the elimination of cash bail, particularly as it’s written in the SAFE-T Act, will reduce public safety and lead to more crime particularly more violent crime in Illinois,” Patrick Windhorst, former state’s attorney and current state representative for district 118, said.

Windhorst said he voted against this bill when it came about. He said he was one of the leading voices against it.

The Illinois SAFE-T Act is legislation aimed at overhauling the state’s criminal justice system.

“I know that talking with prosecutors and law enforcement officers, they’re really concerned that the public is going to point the finger at them and say, ‘Why aren’t you doing more about these offenses?’ And with this major change in the law, beginning January 1st, a lot of their ability to do their jobs has been restrained,” he explained.

The Johnson County sheriff agreed with Windhorst.

“Anyone sitting in jail right now with all these pending charges, they’re going to be let out,” Johnson County Sheriff Peter Sopczak said. “The gates are open and they’re going to be let out onto the streets.”

Crime is rising in our major cities across the nation.

But it’s not just the cities; it’s impacting small towns and rural America as well.

It is being described as “The end of days.”

Many people are fearful a real life “Purge” will happen in Chicago.

Why knowingly release murder suspects?

Even one of the County State Attorney’s believes it will cause “the end of days.”

Per CBN News:

Will County State’s Attorney James Glasgow said in a YouTube video it will be the “end of days” once the law kicks in. He says the hands of police, prosecutors, and judges will be tied.

“What you see in Chicago, we’ll have here,” Glasgow said.

Glasgow said he won’t be able to hold people longer than three months if they demand trial. “On the 90th day, they get out, no matter what crime they committed,” the state attorney said.

He called on voters to demand of anyone running for election in November to repeal the measure.

The bill “will destroy the city and the state of Illinois,” Glasgow said. “I don’t even understand (how) the people who support it can’t realize that.”

Can anyone make sense of what these state “leaders” are doing?

Serioudly?

Can anyone explain their reasoning?
