Alex Jones Shows Up To Court With Tape Over Mouth: “Save The 1st”

Legendary “Conspiracy Theorist” Alex Jones showed up to court on Tuesday with tape over his mouth that reads “Save the 1st”.

Jones has been in a long drawn-out court battle after parents of the Sandy Hook victims reportedly sued Alex Jones for over $150 million dollars for Jones allegedly claiming the Sandy Hook shooting was a hoax.

The reason Jones wore the tape over his mouth was due to the fact he is extremely upset with Travis County District Court Judge Maya Guerra Gamble who is overseeing the case and went on record saying that Judge Gramble told the jury he was already guilty.

The Host of Info Wars also stated Judge Gamble told him he could not claim he was innocent to the jury.

Al Jeezera had these details to share about the trial:

The jury trial of Alex Jones, a US conspiracy theorist, began in a case that will decide how much he must pay the family of a child killed in the 2012 Sandy Hook massacre that he falsely claimed was a hoax.

Mark Bankston, an attorney for the parents of slain six-year-old Jesse Lewis, told jurors on Tuesday that the Sandy Hook hoax lie became a “viral sensation” for Jones, who spread it to millions of people.

“Mr Jones was continually churning out this idea that Sandy Hook was fake,” Bankston said. “He was patient zero for the Sandy Hook hoax.”

Jones, founder of the Infowars radio show and webcast, had asserted the mainstream media and gun-control activists conspired to fabricate the tragedy in which 20 schoolchildren and six school staff were shot dead at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut, on December 14, 2012.

Attorney and political analyst Mike Cernovich gave his two cents about Jone’s trial.

Attorney Robert Barnes didn’t stay silent either:

Yahoo News had more to add:

A Texas judge overseeing the defamation trial that will determine how much money Alex Jones must pay Sandy Hook Elementary School parents for falsely claiming the Dec. 14, 2012, mass shooting in Newtown, Conn., was fake admonished the Infowars founder Tuesday for speaking about the case within earshot of the jury.

“We’re not going to have that again,” Judge Maya Guerra Gamble told Jones and his attorneys.

During a break in opening arguments, Jones spoke to reporters inside Travis County Courthouse in Austin, where Infowars is based.

“Ladies and gentlemen, if you want to be bamboozled and lose your First Amendment … go ahead,” Jones said. “You’re having your rights to a trial by jury to decide if you’re guilty or innocent stolen from you. This is a kangaroo court. This is a political act. This is a witch hunt.”

The judge reminded Jones that every participant in the trial is “ordered to be silent out of this courtroom, or if there is any member of the jury in sight.”

The trial comes after judges in Texas and Connecticut issued default judgments against Jones, finding him liable for defamation for his portrayal of the Sandy Hook massacre as a hoax involving “crisis actors” employed by the government in order to enact stricter gun control. (In both states, judges issued default judgments against Jones without trials because he failed to respond to court orders and turn over documents.)
