As with any of his other obvious cognitive and physical problems, the White House is circling the wagons around Joe Biden in light of his recent COVID-19 diagnosis.
Reporters actually decided to ask a few relevant questions during a press conference on Thursday, but White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was in no mood to provide direct answers.
In response to a question regarding where Biden contracted the virus, she shot back: “Look, I don’t think that matters, right?”

The president has begun treatment with the drug Paxlovid, which is currently authorized for the treatment of “mild-to-moderate COVID-19.” The antiviral drug has been proven to curb the worst effects of the disease, showing positive results of direct viral testing for those at high risk of progressing to severe COVID-19, according to the FDA.
Biden’s latest previous test for COVID-19 was Tuesday, when he had a negative test result, the White House said.
The announcement came one day after Biden traveled on Air Force One to Massachusetts with top administration officials as well as Massachusetts Sens. Ed Markey and Elizabeth Warren, and Reps. Jake Auchincloss and Bill Keating.
Countless social media users had their own questions and concerns upon learning about the latest issue plaguing the oldest man to ever serve in the Oval Office.
It was one year ago today that Biden said this quote: "You're not going to get covid if you have these vaccinations."

Sad to hear Joe Biden has covid. But on the plus side this is the first positive result of his Presidency.

Joe Biden has tested positive for covid despite two “covid vaccine” shots and two additional boosters. That’s four covid shots total, and he still got it. That’s a real shame because a fifth covid shot would have definitely kept this from happening.

Further complicating matters was the revelation that Biden had to be taken off of a prescription medication for his heart upon beginning treatment.
According to the New York Post:
Dr. Ashish Jha, the White House coronavirus coordinator, said at a press briefing that it’s “very standard” to discontinue the medications during a five-day regimen of the antiviral Paxlovid.
Medical experts had expressed concern about Biden’s use of blood thinner Eliquis to treat atrial fibrillation, an irregular heartbeat condition, while he takes Paxlovid. Biden also takes Crestor to lower his cholesterol.
Jha didn’t address the fact that the Food and Drug Administration specifically warns that “premature discontinuation of any oral anticoagulant, including Eliquis, increases the risk of thrombotic events,” meaning blood clots.
In 1988, Biden survived two brain aneurysms, which blood clots can cause. The drug Eliquis is marketed to lower the risk of stroke and clots for people who have atrial fibrillation.
Jha told reporters that O’Connor told him that heart medications “need to be stopped when you take Paxlovid.”
