Even a broken clock is right twice a day.
That appeared to be the case for former Labor Secretary Robert Reich, who penned a recent op-ed urging Joe Biden not to run for re-election.
Here’s how the Daily Wire reported it:
“It’s not death that’s the worrying thing about a second Biden term,” Reich wrote in an op-ed in The Guardian about the 79-year-old commander-in-chief. “It’s the dwindling capacities that go with aging.”
The op-ed was bluntly titled, “As a 76-year-old let me say: Joe Biden is too old to run again.”
Biden would be 82 years old to begin his second term if he runs and wins in 2024, and while Reich said Biden appears to be holding up, as we age, we lose energy and memory.
“I often can’t remember where I put my wallet and keys. Certain proper nouns have disappeared altogether. Even when rediscovered, they have a diabolical way of disappearing again,” the Democrat wrote.
Octogenarian or not, there are plenty of reasons critics on both sides of the aisle say Biden shouldn’t run again in two years.

Biden won’t finish his term. EVERYONE knows he's unfit for the job. His mind is too far gone. This can't go on any longer. He needs to RESIGN!

A recent poll found that fewer than 2 in 10 Americans believe he should seek a second term in the White House — including a clear majority of Democrats.
As Yahoo reported:
Just 18% of Americans say President Biden should run for reelection in 2024, according to the latest Yahoo News/YouGov poll — the lowest number to date. Nearly two-thirds (64%) say he should bow out.
And for the first time, more Democrats now say Biden should pass on a second term (41%) than say he should pursue one (35%).
The survey of 1,672 U.S. adults, which was conducted from July 8 to July 11, represents perhaps the starkest evidence to date of the president’s deteriorating position with voters — including those in his own party. Since late May, the number of Americans who say Biden should run for reelection has fallen by 7 points; among Democrats, that number has fallen by 8 points.
