Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong proclaimed he’s renouncing his U.S. citizenship after the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade.
Maybe Armstrong can move to Europe, where abortion laws are typically more restrictive than many states in America.
“F*ck America. I’m f*cking renouncing my citizenship. I’m f*cking coming here,” Armstrong shouted to a London crowd Friday night.
“There’s just too much f*cking stupid in the world to go back to that miserable f*cking excuse for a country!” the singer shouted.
“Oh, I’m not kidding, you’re going to get a lot of me in the coming days,” Armstrong added.
We’ll see if the 50-year-old is a man of his word.
What about the barrel-load of celebrities who said they were moving after Donald Trump won the 2016 election?
Did they move?
For Armstrong, I’ll believe it when I see it.
But for the sakes of patriotic Americans who love their country, he won’t be missed if he indeed migrates to the United Kingdom or elsewhere.

In 2016, Green Day chanted “No KKK, No Fascist USA, No Trump” at the American Music Awards because Trump won the election.
