The soaring cost of gasoline and other essential goods has contributed to Joe Biden’s rock-bottom approval rating in recent months.
While skyrocketing inflation might be paving the way for GOP victories in the upcoming midterm elections, Biden revealed that he has no plans to let this crisis go to waste.
In fact, he recently admitted that Democrats want to use the pain of struggling Americans to advance a far-left environmental agenda.
According to Newsweek:
President Joe Biden suggested Monday that the U.S. has a chance to make a “fundamental turn” toward green energy, even as some experts warn that the economy is headed toward a recession.
Shortly after speaking about his skepticism regarding an economic downturn, Biden told reporters in Rehoboth Beach, Delaware, that his mother had an expression: “Out of everything lousy, something good will happen if you look hard enough for it.”
“We have a chance here to make a fundamental turn toward renewable energy, electric vehicles, and not just electric vehicles but across the board,” the president said.
Of course, plenty of conservative critics had some harsh words in response to Biden’s recent remarks.

If you took Joe Biden's rhetoric over the past month seriously, he's telling you to thank Vladimir Putin for jacking up gas prices so high that stupid Americans will have no choice but to make a "fundamental turn toward renewable energy."

He keeps telling you he doesn't give a damn that you can't afford gas, all you have to do is start to believe him. https://t.co/yH8ug3Tozv

Biden also attracted criticism for snapping at a reporter in response to the suggestion that the U.S. economy is barreling toward a recession.
As Fox News reported:
President Biden took a shot at a reporter on Monday after being asked about economists who are forecasting a recession, saying “don’t make things up.”
“Economists are saying that a recession is more likely than ever,” the reporter can be heard saying to Biden on a beach in Delaware.
Biden said “not the majority,” and said “come on, don’t make things up.”
“Now you sound like a Republican politician, I’m joking, that was a joke, that was a joke,” Biden said. “But all kidding aside, no I don’t think it is. I was talking to Larry Summers this morning, there’s nothing inevitable about a recession.”
Despite his efforts to spin the terrible economic news, Biden has also attempted to convince suffering Americans that he is actually trying to do something about the runaway inflation rate.
Here is a clip of him struggling to make his case:
