Guns save lives.
No matter what narrative the Left tries to push, we know that guns protect us from tyranny and evil.
The latter was proven and captured on police body cam footage.
A cop was minding his own business when a car randomly stopped by him.
Suddenly, a man jumped out of the car and attacked the policeman with an axe.
The cop’s reflexes were so fast that he was able to draw his gun and shoot down the axeman before he could get hit.
The gun saved his life.

This has to be one of the craziest things I’ve ever seen

Folks, why did a random man attack this police officer with an axe?
There’s only one rational conclusion:
It’s because of the anti-cop narrative being pushed by the Left.
It’s the fact that the Left has painted cops as “racist pigs.”
And now they’re being attacked with axes because of it.
Their lives are on the line.
According to ABC7 Chicago:
Naperville police released video Tuesday showing an officer shoot a man, who ran at him with a hatchet.
The shooting occurred on June 3 during a traffic stop, near Bond and McDowell.
The video shows another car pulled up, and a man got out and immediately charged at the officer with a hatchet in his hand. The officer then opened fire.
The man, identified as 28-year-old Edward Samaan, died at a hospital. The officer was not hurt.
If it weren’t for the gun, the officer would have likely been injured or even killed by the axeman.
There appears to be no motive for the attempted murder except for hate,
The Chicago Sun Times confirms the story with additional details:
The officer pulled over a car about 11 a.m. June 3 near the intersection of Bond Street and McDowell Road when another car pulled up alongside, Naperville police said.
A man, identified as 28-year-old Edward Samaan, got out of that car and “charged” at the officer with a hatchet in hand, police said.
Body-camera video shows the officer standing by the car he pulled over for driving through a stop sign. The officer speaks to the driver for about 11 minutes when a silver-colored vehicle traveling in the opposite direction pulls up and stops next to the officer.
Samaan then jumps out of the vehicle and rushes toward the officer, appearing to hold a hatchet in his right hand, according to the video. The officer fires several shots and Samaan falls to the ground.
“I’ve just been attacked, shots fired, shots fired. Don’t move, don’t move,” the officer can be heard saying over the radio. “Send a medic!”
More officers arrive at the scene and handcuff Samaan as he lays on the ground. Paramedics show up shortly after and begin to work on Samaan.
“Dude, he just pulled up for no reason,” the officer who fired the shots can be heard telling another officer.
Samaan was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The officer, a 22-year veteran of the department, was not injured.
This is also proof that crimes can be committed by any weapon.
Do we hear Leftist politicians calling for us to ban all axes?
No.
Because they know it’s not the axe, but the person behind the axe.
So why won’t they apply the same logic towards guns?
Yet… as gun violence surges nationwide, the Left continued to attack, demoralize, and demonize our cops.
And there are consequences to this narrative.
We want to show you what the war on cops looks like – because if it was up to big tech and the mainstream media, this video would be buried.https://t.co/h4kUa3MEJf

As more people adopt the left's ideology, they bring with it their hatred for law enforcement. It advances the idea that cops are horrible humans, leading to targeted violence.

Here’s the truth:
Violence against cops is increasing.
It’s clear which side stand behinds our men and women in uniform and which side is against them.
Law Enforcement Today has more details on the alarming number of cops being ambushed:
We are only 5 1/2 months into 2022. We have already seen at least 156 officers shot this year, with 24 of them succumbing to their injuries, according to figures provided to Fox News by the Fraternal Order of Police.
The Officer Down Memorial Page has the number of confirmed 2022 line-of-duty shooting deaths at 26.
Both websites include El Monte Police officers Cpl. Michael Paredes and Officer Joseph Santana, who were allegedly shot and killed by a gang member with a prior record that included a conviction for unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.
“Criminals feel free to engage in crime,” said Sgt. Betsy Brantner Smith, spokesperson for the National Police Association and a retired officer with nearly three decades of experience. “You see videos all over TikTok and Instagram, where criminals are doing things, and they appear to have no fear of the police, of a security guard, of a store manager, none of that.”
Many believe that left-leaning district attorneys have a lot to do with the number of criminals on the street who commit more violent crimes as they await trial.
Case in point, the suspect in the killing of the two El Monte officers, Justin Flores, likely should have been in jail. But Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascon’s office said:
“The sentence he received in the firearm case was consistent with case resolutions for this type of offense given his criminal history and the nature of the offense. At the time the court sentenced him, Mr. Flores did not have a documented history of violence.”
He certainly has a documented history now, if convicted, and there are two families grieving over the death of these officers.
But many believe that the assault on law enforcement is a direct result of the violent “defund” movement posing under the guise of BLM and Antifa.
“We’re in the third year of the war on cops, the renewed war on cops in a post-George Floyd world,” Brantner Smith said. “And then we have these ‘woke’ prosecutors who are not keeping people in jail.”
She believes that the two suspects responsible for the last three slayings should have been behind bars.
“Had they been in prison, these three cops would still be alive,” she said.
We have an archive of stories we have published over the past few years that identify numerous officers shot to death in the line of duty.
Many of them we killed by someone that probably should have been locked up. Instead, criminal justice reform has continued to put violent offenders back on the streets, where they continue to commit acts of violence.
Fortunately in this case, the cop was able to save his life with his gun.
But not all cops are that lucky.
