Peter Navarro Speaks Out On Inhumane Treatment By F.B.I.

Many are crying out that we have a two-tiered system of justice in this country…

How could they not? In the last week alone we saw the arrest of former Trump advisor Peter Navarro while Clinton lawyer Michael Sussmann walked free.

Navarro reports being restrained with leg irons, strip-searched, denied food and water, denied access to his attorney, and placed in solitary confinement…

The F.B.I. thought it would be appropriate to send in 5 agents to subdue a 72-year-old man in a manner that would make the KGB proud.

When did we become a country that wields the power of the judiciary to arrest and prosecute people on political grounds?

I don’t think Democrats understand the gravity of what they have done or where this will lead us. They have opened Pandora’s box.

Here’s what Navarro and supporters had to say:

Navarro’s response to the surprise arrest came by way of Fox News:

“They chose a different route. They didn’t call my attorney. Instead, they went with this shock-and-awe terror strategy – They let me go to the airport and then take me with five agents, like I’m an Al Qaeda terrorist,” he said, adding he was allegedly unconstitutionally deprived of food, water and counsel during his time in custody.

The Federalist notes:

The split-screen of a smug and triumphant Hillary Clinton 2016 campaign lawyer Michael Sussmann walking free from D.C. federal court, and a harried and bewildered former Donald Trump trade adviser Peter Navarro being hauled before it, following his account of a harrowing arrest and detainment, ought to be ingrained indelibly in the American mind.
