Pennsylvania GOP Senate candidate David McCormick announced he is conceding in the race against Mehmet Oz.
An automatic recount process thus far has not garnered him any additional votes.
The margin sits at around 900 votes in favor of Oz.
“I am so proud of what we have accomplished in this campaign,” said McCormick.
“We came so close, a razor thin margin. But we have a nominee.”

McCormick said he called Oz earlier to congratulate him. "Oz has my full support. I wish him well in the next phase of the campaign"

Updated: McCormick campaign said it's dropping court case requesting to count undated mail-in ballots. About 800 of those left, and US Supreme Court was (is?) set to rule if those should be added. But looks like they wouldn't make enough of a difference. https://t.co/UKVttCbNHo

“It’s now clear to me with the recount now largely complete that we have a nominee,” McCormick said at a campaign party at a Pittsburgh hotel.
“Tonight is really about all us coming together.”

Just the News reported:
Prior to the recount, Oz held a slim 972-vote lead in the race, roughly 0.07 percent of the total votes. The celebrity doctor struggled to triumph over his rivals even with the enthusiastic support of former President Donald Trump.
Oz faced criticism from the right over his Turkish citizenship and noncommittal stances on 2020 election fraud, while third-place candidate Kathy Barnette secured roughly one quarter of the vote, partially contributing to the close race between Oz and McCormick.
The final results of the race are not yet official but, barring any surprises, Oz will go on to face Democratic Lt. Gov. John Fetterman in the November election to succeed one-term GOP Sen. Pat Toomey, who is retiring.
