For many that are prisoners of the moment, it may seem like Elon Musk has always been a friend of the Right. In reality, it wasn’t that long ago that he was sipping champaign at Hillary Clinton fundraisers and cracking jokes with Barrack Obama. In fact as recently as 2018, Musk declared he was not a conservative at all.
@elonmusk the original centrist:
n 2014, Musk described himself politically as “half Democrat, half Republican” and “I’m somewhere in the middle, socially liberal and fiscally conservative.” In 2018, he stated that he was “not a conservative. #Tesla #SpaceX pic.twitter.com/2YfkbenLRd— Spidey_ElonFan (@spideycyp_155) June 1, 2022
However as with most things the Left puts its hands on, they ruined their relationship with Elon Musk and have officially lost his support. But it’s not just a simple falling out. Musk has officially declared he is going all in with Republicans going as far as possibly joining the party.
Wanting to squash any doubt on where he stands, Musk has stated online and in interviews that he intends to back Republicans during the mid term elections. The most recent demonstration of this came in response to a Twitter user who questioned his patriotism.
Rebel News offers some insight on what is happening.
Trending: FACT-CHECK: Is The Butt Baby Real?
Elon Musk has reaffirmed his switch from the Democrats to the Republican Party.
Shortly after the billionaire Tesla CEO stated his plans to vote Republican during the next election, Musk said that he intends to vote Red in the 2022 midterms.
Like most blue-haired hacks, a Twitter user came at Musk stating that he couldn’t possibly love America if he supported President Trump. Of course Elon Musk annihilates this ignorant liberal using cold hard facts and logic. The reality is that his move to support the Right is out of his love for freedom, not his indifference.
Writing a response to a Twitter user with a Ukraine flag avatar who suggested that he didn’t care about freedom, who suggested that he “wouldn’t be supporting Donald Trump” if he did, Musk replied: “I support free speech, but not any one candidate. In fact, I gave money to & voted for Hillary & then voted for Biden.”
Like him or hate him, everyone can agree that Elon takes no prisoners when it comes to arguments. All this raises a very important question. Why is Musk choosing to turn his back on the Left now after all this time. Extremist behavior and “wokeism” have alway been a part of the Left’s culture.
It turns out its the Left’s fault for his change of heart. Rather than simply take his money, smile, and get selfies while riding in his Cybertruck, they thought they owned him. More than that, they believed they could bully him and force him to give up his freedoms as a free market capitalist without a fight.
Take AOC for example. She took to the internet to declare she wanted to sell her Tesla cause of her hatred for Elon Musk and billionaires like him. Elon is not a punching bag.
One thing is undeniably true about Elon Musk – he is funny and has a great sense of humor!https://t.co/w1TzqwSBfD

As the Left often does, they miscalculated the situation entirely. Musk is not a “Bill Gates” billionaire. Don’t play with his money.
I support free speech, but not any one candidate. In fact, I gave money to & voted for Hillary & then voted for Biden.
However, given unprovoked attacks by leading Democrats against me & a very cold shoulder to Tesla & SpaceX, I intend to vote Republican in November.

The move to go Republican is not an emotional decision for Musk. It’s a logical one. He understands that the Left’s platform does not result in a prosperous future for anyone including himself. Taken from his statements and given his South African history, Musk may know better than most the damage this kind of culture could produce.
“The Democrat vs Republican tribalism among otherwise intelligent people is most distressing,” said Musk. “Demonizing everyone who would vote for an alternate party is not constructive.”
Musk’s comments provide an insight into prior statements he made on the All-In Podcast on May 16, in which he expressed distress at the left’s observance of wokeism and cancel culture, most prevalent on social media.
While Elon Musk may be the most prominent figure to leave the ranks of the Left in recent months, he is definitely not the only one. In fact, based on reports, an alarming number of longtime Democrats are making the move to center and even to the Right. There’s a mass exodus happening politically in much the same way tens of thousands are fleeing states like California and New York.
The hope of conservatives is that the Left will continue on their path of destructive behavior and cancel culture. The single greatest weapon the Right has at the moment may be the one the Left is wielding at anyone they think they can bully or intimidate.
Let’s all band together and hope that Elon Musks’ sentiments about the Left get echoed and repeated out of the mouthes of millions more liberal Americans. Especially in November.
“I have voted overwhelmingly for Democrats, historically, overwhelmingly. Like I’m not sure, I might never have voted for a Republican, just to be clear,” Musk said at the time. “Now, this election, I will.”
“In the past I voted Democrat, because they were (mostly) the kindness party,” Musk stated on Twitter on May 18. “But they have become the party of division & hate, so I can no longer support them and will vote Republican. Now, watch their dirty tricks campaign against me unfold …”
