House GOP Introduces Bill to Axe Biden’s ‘Ministry of Truth’

“Republicans in Congress have written a bill to discontinue the Department of Homeland Security’s “Disinformation Governance Board” as soon as possible,” The Post Millennial writes.

Colorado Rep. Lauren Boebert authored the “Ministry of Truth Termination Act” and first made the legislation public on Friday.

The outlined intention of the bill is “to terminate the Disinformation Governance Board of the Department of Homeland Security and to prohibit the use of Federal funds to establish any similar Board, and for other purposes.”

Since the “ministry of truth” was revealed earlier this week, prominent figures like Ron DeSantis, Tulsi Gabbard, and Elon Musk have publicly condemned it.

Rep. Boebert explained earlier Friday afternoon why she was bringing this bill forward.

Addressing the DHS Secretary, she said: “Here’s an idea: instead of trying to pull from the playbook of Stalin and Mao, how about securing our southern border so we don’t have 3 million illegal aliens invading our country? How about building the wall so we don’t have mobile morgues filled with dead migrant bodies. Mayorkas: stop acting like a dictator and try acting like you give a darn about the safety and security of your fellow Americans.”

Senator Hawley expressed his similar view earlier this week.
