Gov. DeSantis Bashes Biden’s “Ministry of Truth” In New Press Conference

Governor Ron DeSantis for the most part has been able to keep himself clean from the swamp and his latest press conference was a prime example of it.

During his latest press conference, Gov. DeSantis was quoted saying “you cannot have a Ministry of Truth in this country”.

He would go on to say, that Biden’s agenda for the new Disinformation Governance Board is to silence Americans by only allowing woke propaganda to be seen as truth.

Biden’s “Ministry of Truth” was created just a couple of days after Elon Musk bought Twitter which goes to show how fearful the regime really is.

The Biden Administration’s creation of a “disinformation” bureau within DHS is effectively a Ministry of Truth that is alien to our constitutional tradition.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday vowed to fight back against the Biden administration’s new Orwellian disinformation bureau, insisting a “Ministry of Truth” cannot exist in the United States.

“They want to be able to put out false narratives without people being able to speak out and fight back,” DeSantis said. “But we’re not going to let Biden get away with this one, so we will be fighting back.”

DeSantis is the latest conservative to slam the Department of Homeland Security’s new “Disinformation Governance Board”, which has come under intense scrutiny since it was first revealed Wednesday.

The hashtag “Ministry of Truth” was trending on Twitter Thursday as critics compared the new board to George Orwell’s “1984” novel.

The DHS said the board was created to target supposed misinformation linked to key vulnerabilities for the Biden administration — including the border crisis and Russian disinformation threats.

“You cannot have a Ministry of Truth in this country,” DeSantis said.

“We believe it’s essential that individual Floridians and Americans are able to speak out against the false narratives trying to be jammed down our throats by this regime.”

The Daily Mail didn’t stay silent either:

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has joined the chorus of critics tearing into the Biden administration’s new ‘Disinformation Governance Board’ – headed by a ‘Russia expert’ who said Hunter Biden’s laptop was a ‘product of the Trump campaign’

‘You cannot have a Ministry of Truth in this country. We’re not going to let Biden get away with this one. So we will be fighting back,’ the Republican said on Friday at a news conference.

‘When you’re not doing well, you have two options: You can try to do better. Or you can try to silence your critics. [The Biden Administration] is doing the latter,’ he added.

DeSantis led the uptick in fury as Republican Senator Tom Cotton said he would introduce legislation to have the new ‘Disinformation’ board defunded and a new video showed its head Nina Jankowicz singing about ‘misinformation’ to the tune of the Mary Poppins song ‘Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.’
