Australian Billionaire Clive Palmer Credits Ivermectin & Hydroxychloroquine For Beating COVID; Refused ICU Treatment and Going Onto Ventilator

Australian billionaire Clive Palmer had a recent battle with COVID-19 and claims he was only five hours away from dying before receiving a cocktail of five anti-viral drugs.

A team of specialists who treated President Trump fast-tracked Palmer onto the regimen, which included ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

Palmer went to Pindara Private Hospital on the Gold Coast with breathing difficulties on February 27th.

He was also diagnosed with double pneumonia but refused to go onto a ventilator as advised by doctors there.

Instead, Palmer returned to his mansion on Sovereign Island and contacted the team of U.S. specialists by Zoom.

“I would have died otherwise, without doubt,’’ Palmer said.

Sky News reported:

Two of the anti-viral drugs included the controversial agents, ivermectin and hydroxychloroquine.

The Therapeutics Goods Association, which assesses the safety and efficacy of COVID-19 treatments, has not approved ivermectin or hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.

Last year further restrictions were placed on general practitioners to prescribe these treatments.

After contracting the more deadly Delta variant in Sydney, Mr Palmer was rushed to Pindara Hospital on February 27.

There were serious concerns for his health because he is 67, in a higher weight category for his height and unvaccinated.

Daily Mail provided further details:

Neither that drug or the anti-parasitical treatment Ivermectin was authorised by Australian or US authorities as a Covid treatment, but many high-profile opponents of vaccination mandates had used and endorsed them, including podcaster Joe Rogan.

‘I would have died otherwise, without doubt,’ Mr Palmer, 67, told Sky News Australia.

‘I’ve been told that without the anti-viral intervention on that Sunday night I would likely have been dead within five hours.

‘The US specialists, a couple of whom treated (Donald) Trump for Covid, were very strong about not going onto a ventilator.

‘I had faith in the US doctors. I’m not being critical of the Pindara people at all. They believed ventilation was necessary but I had alternative advice and I stuck with that.

‘I said that won’t be happening and I went home.’
