House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) is nothing if not a cheerleader for her political team.
The trouble is, of course, that there has been very little to celebrate since Joe Biden moved into the White House.
Nevertheless, the California Democrat did her best during a recent press briefing to paint a rosy picture of the Biden administration.
For at least one Republican in the House, her rhetoric came off as disingenuous and utterly misleading.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) expressed his position this week during a Newsmax TV interview.
Our friends over at Breitbart provided the details:
Representative Jim Jordan (R-OH) on Thursday reacted to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) touting President Joe Biden’s handling of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as “masterful.”
Jordan, pointing to the botched Afghanistan withdrawal, the “weakness projected from the White House” with Russian President Vladimir Putin, inflation and the border crisis, slammed Biden. He argued Biden, in his 14 months in office, “has given us nothing but chaos.”
Jordan wasn’t the only one who fiercely disagreed with Pelosi’s characterization.
Nancy Pelosi says she thinks Biden has done a “masterful job” in managing the Ukraine situation.
How dumb do they think we are?

Of course, the situation in Ukraine is just one of several crises that many Americans insist Biden has either created or made worse.
Biden’s airline mask mandate makes ZERO sense.

It was clear that Pelosi and other Democrats hoped the Ukraine situation would help Biden’s dismal approval rating rebound.
As it stands, his widespread unpopularity is setting the stage for Republicans to win big in the upcoming midterm elections.
Just like with his response to almost every other issue since taking office, however, Americans are generally not impressed with Biden’s policy regarding Ukraine.
As Newsweek reported:
Nearly half of Americans still disapprove of how President Joe Biden is responding to Russia’s invasion of Ukraine as the conflict enters its third week, according to a survey.
A Quinnipiac University national poll, conducted between March 10 and 14, found that 49 percent of respondents have a negative view of Biden’s response to the war, compared to 42 percent who approve.
The results show that more people are unhappy with Biden’s reaction to the conflict than they were near the start of the month.
Here’s a video clip of Jordan tearing apart Pelosi’s effort to spin all the bad news coming out of the Biden administration.
Do you think the Biden administration has been a failure?
