New York City Mayor Eric Adams was asked at a press conference on Wednesday if he plans to shed COVID-19 passports to enter indoor venues.
Adams responded that he “can’t wait to get it done.”

The mayor went on to say that he still plans to follow the benchmarks laid out by scientists who have given him a “clear structure” for how to move forward. As for Kyrie Irving, the Nets guard has not played a home game in Brooklyn because of the city’s vaccine mandates. Irving only began playing in away games in January after the Nets loosened their organizational policies on allowing players to compete regardless of their vaccination status.
While that’s nice for Kyrie Irving, working-class New Yorkers should remain angry for the destruction caused by these corrupt politicians.
New Yorkers should still be fed up with their government.
Sadly, most of them won’t and will give Adams a round of applause for “returning” their freedoms to enter indoor spaces.
But what about the teachers, police officers, firefighters, sanitation workers, and other city employees fired over the mandates?

What about the small businesses destroyed due to the lockdowns, restrictions, and mandates?
While a basketball star becomes the focal point of NYC's prospective end of COVID-19 jab mandates for indoor venues, blue-collar workers still have a boot to their throats.
Those fighting for medical freedom must continue fighting until everyone fired from the mandates gets rehired with back pay.
And continue fighting after that!
