Kyle Rittenhouse Explains Why He Plans to Sue LeBron James: ‘Man Knock It Off!’

Kyle Rittenhouse became a household name following a violent protest in Wisconsin nearly two years ago.

The teen opened fire, killing two demonstrators and injuring a third in what a jury determined was an act of self-defense.

Although he was cleared of any legal wrongdoing, many of his critics continued to portray him as a murderer in various public statements.

Now, Rittenhouse is preparing to fight back.

As he revealed in a recent interview, one target of a defamation lawsuit is NBA star LeBron James.

The dispute stemmed from a tweet the basketball player posted following Rittenhouse’s testimony in court.

Rittenhouse explained his motivation for suing James, as reported by the Washington Examiner:

The tweet was referencing the emotional episode the teenager had while testifying about the incident in Kenosha, Wisconsin, that led him to shoot three men in self-defense, killing two of them.

Rittenhouse said he wants to hold the people who defamed him accountable and has spoken on launching his Media Accountability Project “to help fundraise and hold the media accountable for the lies they say and deal with them in court.”

Of course, LeBron James is far from the only high-profile figure who weighed in on the trial by disparaging the exonerated shooter.

As a result of the widespread backlash, Rittenhouse made it clear that James is not the only celebrity he will be going after in court.

He expressed his intentions during a recent interview with Fox News Channel’s Tucker Carlson.

The Daily Mail has more:

‘We are looking at quite a few politicians, celebrities, athletes, Whoopi Goldberg is on the list. She called me a murderer after I was acquitted by a jury of my peers. She went on to still say that, and there’s others,’ Rittenhouse told Carlson.

He also revealed that Cenk Uygur the founder of the Young Turks show is on his scope adding that he ‘continues to call me a ‘murderer.”

The Young Turks show is a liberal and left-wing news commentary show on YouTube that additionally appears on selected television channels.

Here is a clip of Rittenhouse’s latest appearance on Carlson’s show.
