I am highly doubtful that these Canadian truckers are some fringe who ‘don’t represent the majority of Canadians‘…
If they were truly so fringe and worthy of ridicule then Trudeau wouldn’t have snipers trained on them right now in an effort to stop or control them.
The latest reports indicate that over 21 Bitcoin have been raised on behalf of the Canadian freedom convoy…
Bitcoin is trading at roughly $42,500 at the time of this writing; this means that roughly $892,500 has been raised for the truckers thus far.
If held instead of spent that number can go up or down depending on the market, so there is a potential for that $892,500 to grow by simple way of market volatility.
I recently wrote on how China is attempting to use blockchain technology for the wrong purposes, but this story right here highlights the correct and positive use cases for blockchain tech and cryptocurrency: to champion freedom.
Let’s take a look:

ProCoin News reports:
Several donations sites like GoFundme have taken down fundraisers for the truckers but a site called Tally Coin which takes Bitcoin as a donation is still up and running and so far has raised over 21 Bitcoin worth over $920,000 USD.

Finbold explains:
Whatsmore, Tallycoin, in contrast to GoFundMe, does not have the ability to withhold any of the funds that have been raised. While also allowing Bitcoin contributions to be made both on-chain and across the Lightning Network, resulting in greater efficiency overall.
