The Iraq war was illegal, immoral, and costly.
While the neocon jingoism was widespread at the time and attempted to force empty slogans such as ‘freedom’ and ‘supporting the troops’ on the American people, some Americans dissented.
It wasn’t until years later that the limited dissent became widespread, and it became obvious that the government lied to us in order to invade a country for its oil wealth.
Could the situation in Ukraine right now be an all too familiar rehash of an obvious fraud like the Iraq war?
Perhaps it is, according to the latest reports our government attempted to sell ‘freedom gas’ to Europe, and several of the European powers seemed keen on acquiring U.S. natural gas.
This would put Russia and the U.S. in direct competition for the rights to sell natural gas to Europe, and while oil is currently the cornerstone of the global economy, energy in and of itself is a precious commodity in any form.
It isn’t hard to see why the deep state is now pushing for conflict in the region. Conflict gives the state a chance to ‘intervene’ and lock up natural gas rights in Europe, and the right to sell that gas to the European powers.
Recent developments indicating that the Biden administration is attempting to push a false narrative on the Russian Ukrainian tensions don’t help the credibility of our government either.
Anyone familiar with the “weapons of mass destruction” narrative from 2003 knows just how far the state will go to push war under false pretenses.
Here’s what we currently know:
Markets do not solve the problem of energy pricing. What is required is planning and long-term investments in infrastructure, writes Prabir Purkayastha for @newsclickin and Globetrotter. #Ukraine #Russia #NordStream2 https://t.co/OHQ7oGynIa

Been a lot of talk of Biden disconnecting Russia from SWIFT the int'l financial transfer system if they invade Ukraine.
Wouldn't this prevent Russian oil companies from exporting oil to the US?

The Wall Street Journal confirmed:
U.S. officials tried to persuade Europe for years to buy American natural gas as a bulwark against Russia, with the Trump administration dubbing it “molecules of freedom.” But most countries stuck with the cheaper Russian supplies, with some expressing environmental concern about the fruits of U.S. fracking.
Now, as Europe confronts the possibility of a serious supply squeeze amid Russian hostilities toward Ukraine, the U.S. is trying to help Europe secure emergency gas supplies. But there is only so much the Biden administration can do: Most American gas has been sold to other customers, and Europe has limited facilities to import more.
In the very first moments of Biden's Administration he put the US, and the majority of the world, at the mercy of Russia and OPEC. This has given Russia the freedom to pursue a more aggressive agenda without fear of a crackdown on it's Oil and Gas exports.https://t.co/UA7jT85qk8

Additionally,
NATO nations have little appetite for involvement. (they depend on Russia for energy – natural gas)

Daily Mail had previously reported:
In a speech at the Lord Mayor’s Banquet in the City of London last night, the Prime Minister urged EU allies to ‘work ever more closely’ as he issued a warning over the controversial Nord Stream 2 supply line.
Mr Johnson also accused Belarus’s authoritarian president Alexander Lukashenko, an ally of President Putin, of an ‘abhorrent’ attempt to engineer a migrant crisis in an effort to undermine European unity.
The Prime Minister’s Official Spokesman earlier on Monday criticised the ‘contrived crisis’ and said the UK stands ‘shoulder-to-shoulder’ with its European allies as EU foreign ministers considered fresh sanctions against the regime in Minsk.
