I recently reported on how Melania Trump launched her own NFT collection.
The former 1st lady continued her foray into NFTs and the crypto markets through auctioning off a hat and a matching NFT with the sale.
Sources tell us that the hat sold for 1,800 Solana—worth roughly $173,000 at the time of this writing.
Despite all of this, President Trump is still cautious about cryptocurrencies, and has gone on record to criticize them several times now.
Here’s more on the story:

ProCoinNews tells us:
The winning bidder received the white hat Melania wore at her first official state visit, an NFT signed by Melania Trump, and a painting signed by Melania.
The hat sold for over $173,000 but missed its targeted goal of $250,000 but to be honest $173,000 for a hat and an NFT sounds like a successful auction to me.
