There’s a reason this saying exists:
“Once you go woke, you go broke.”
Well, it appears that Bed, Bath & Beyond is the latest example that this saying is true!
The nationwide retailer has announced that they are closing 37 more locations.

This is on top of the 200 locations that they shut down last year!
But here’s the thing:
These store closures began happening after one key event.
Ever since Bed, Bath & Beyond “canceled” Mike Lindell and MyPillow, it’s been announcing the closing of stores nationwide.
As of this writing, it appears that 237 stores will be shuttered for good.
Is it coincidence?
Or is it karma?
You decide!
Bed Bath & Beyond will close at least 37 more stores this year. I’m glad to hear it since they stopped selling My Pillow and did other “woke” things.#GoWokeGoBroke #KeeptheRepublicSafe

@BedBathBeyond 🧐 #GetWokeGoBroke As soon as #MikeLindell merchandise was pulled I cancelled my credit card and have not and will not shop there again. 🤷♀️🤦♀️ https://t.co/fU6luSDSEn

So remember when Bed Bath Beyond went woke and dropped MY Pillow…. BBB lost $75 million in the 3rd quarter and they are about to close more stores….

Of course, the media and their allies in the left will try to claim there is no correlation.
But I think the timeline speaks for itself.
Per CNBC:
Bed Bath & Beyond continues to shut underperforming locations, with dozens of closures planned for early this year.
The company released a list of 37 locations spread across 19 states where liquidation sales have already kicked off and the shops are expected to close by the end of February. It includes five Bed Bath shops in California, seven in New York and one in New Jersey.
In 2020, Bed Bath announced it planned to shut about 200 of its core banner stores over two years, as part of its broader turnaround efforts. It’s also in the midst of remodeling locations to reduce clutter and add brighter signage and new brands.
When Bed Bath reported its fiscal third-quarter results on Thursday, the home goods retailer said it has closed roughly 170 locations thus far and is still on track to hit 200 by year-end.
Here’s where things get crazy.
Despite being canceled by the left, Mike Lindell and MyPillow appear to be doing better than ever.
“We’ve actually increased in sales. We’re actually up in sales. Our shipping’s behind,” Lindell said.
CEO #MikeLindell said that #MyPillow sales remain strong after several retailers recently stopped stocking the pillows. https://t.co/kAmqWISiNF

Cancel culture ALWAYS backfires
JK Rowling? CANCELLED. HP sales? ⬆️23%
Goya? CANCELLED. Sales? ⬆️400%
My Pillow? CANCELLED. Sales? Unprecedented
Dr Seuss? CANCELLED. Again a bestseller
The Left’s desperate attempts to cancel opposition only drive conservatism. Bring it on 🇺🇸

The left wants to cancel Publix now. When are these clowns going to figure out that their lame "boycotts" always backfire bigly. Sales for My Pillow and Goya have never been better. 😂🤡

While Mike Lindell and other victims of Cancel Culture are doing better than ever, the perpetrators appear to be suffering.
Keep in mind, we are not even two weeks into 2022.
And already, Bed, Bath & Beyond has announced the shuttering of 37 stores.
Does that sound like a strong start to the year?
The Wall Street Journal confirms:
Bed Bath and Beyond Inc. said it is closing 37 stores as the retailer continues to shrink its store count.
The company is shutting down stores in Alabama, Arizona, California, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and West Virginia.
Notice that most of these states are solidly red states.
Or they are blue states that appear to be fine with shoplifting.
So what do you think?
Is “go woke, go broke” real?
Or is this simply a coincidence?
