Score another one for the 2nd Amendment!
So important.
More important now than ever.
Hunting is good and fine, but the 2nd Amendment does not exist to protect us from the deer.
It exists to protect us against a tyrannical government and against those who would seek to do us harm.
Like a violent carjacking.
Two people in Philly who attempted just that got more than they bargained for as they reportedly came up against a Lyft driver who was armed and packing.
Take a look:

I love the quote from this police officer:
“Very dangerous situation. Fortunately, our Lyft driver, our victim, wasn’t shot, because he had a rifle put to him, and our Lyft driver had a weapon that he used to shoot both perpetrators!”
Exactly right!
Something tells me these perps will not try that again!

Here’s more from Fox32:
Two suspects in an armed carjacking are in the hospital after police say they attempted to take a vehicle from a Lyft who was armed with a gun he was licensed to carry on Monday afternoon in West Philadelphia.
Officials said the shooting happened on the 4200 block of Parkside Avenue Monday, just before 2:45 in the afternoon.
A Lyft driver, with a passenger, was rear-ended twice, according to authorities. When the driver stopped and got out, two men got out of their vehicle with a gun and demanded the Lyft driver’s vehicle.
Police say the Lyft driver produced his own firearm and fired at both suspects, injuring both of them.
The driver then got his passenger out and one of the two suspects took control of the vehicle.
