Media, Democrats Desperately Try to Keep Focus on Trump Instead of Biden Today

I’m not going to pretend that I’m surprised at how the media is acting today on January 6th, one year removed from what they falsely called a “deadly insurrection.”

It’s important to understand just why they’re putting the pedal to the metal on their talking points today though.

See, the media and the democrats view today as an opportunity to reset (no pun intended) the American public’s perception of Joe Biden.

Most liberal Americans have been brainwashed into believing that what happened last January was indeed an “insurrection.”

It just so happens that Joe Biden’s popularity among all Americans also hit its lowest point at the end of 2021.

That means that today marks the perfect opportunity to recondition the brainwashed masses.

Joe Biden started the process off this morning, when he went hard after President Donald Trump, claiming that Trump has spread a “web of lies” since the 2020 election.

CNN was at the front of the line in gushing about Biden’s speech:

In remarks to mark one year since the deadly insurrection on the US Capitol, President Biden took aim at the “lies” spread by former President Donald Trump and his lack of action to stop the insurrection as it unfolded before the eyes of the world.

“We saw with our own eyes rioters menace these halls, threatening the life of the speaker of the house, literally erecting gallows to hang the vice president of the United States of America. What did we not see? We didn’t see a former president, who had just rallied the mob to attack, sitting in the private dining room off the Oval office in the White House, watching it all on television and doing nothing for hours as police were assaulted, lives at risk, the nation’s capitol under siege,” Biden said.

“This wasn’t a group of tourists. This was an armed insurrection. They weren’t looking to uphold the will of the people. They were looking to deny the will of the people,” the President continued.

It’s safe to say that democrats are ‘pouncing’ on this opportunity to bring voters back to Biden’s side.

The problem is that it is so completely obvious what they’re trying to do.

CNN guest just said “this is a bad day for Donald Trump. This is a bad week for Donald Trump.” They need Jan 6 to be a thing so bad so that they can pretend things aren’t falling apart under Biden, the president they helped elect.

As Matt Walsh pointed out, a relatively small group of Trump supporters played right into the hands of democrats last year, giving them just enough ammunition to use against everyone later.

The morons on January 6th gave the Left ammunition that it will use forever. That's how the game is played. When your enemy hands you a gift, you take it. Republicans could be talking about the BLM riots — the true "attack on democracy" — but they're too stupid or scared.
