Just one more mandate…
With mask and vaccine mandates already having been implemented throughout NYC, Mayor-elect Eric Adams has decided that booster mandates should be next.
First the masks, then the vaccine, then the boosters… – seeing a trend?
Adams, along with outgoing Mayor de Blasio, agree that the booster shot is an “imperative weapon” in combatting Covid.

Hopefully this new “imperative weapon” proves more effective than previous vaccine shots – now shown to lose some effect just months after dosage.
But don’t worry, these booster shots are voluntary as well…
Just be prepared to lose your job in the likely event this mandate passes and you refuse to take the booster, similar to previous Covid vaccine mandates.
Private sector business owners have already acknowledged this possible mandate as a major threat to the city’s economy.
NY Daily News reports:
The private sector mandate, the most sweeping of its kind when announced by de Blasio in early December, has ruffled feathers among business leaders who argue it may drive down the city’s economy again.
To assuage such concerns, de Blasio said earlier this week that his administration would not slap fines on business owners as soon as a violation is detected. Rather, he said inspectors would seek to “educate and correct” noncompliant businesses and only levy fines against those that “flatly refuse” to abide.
“We will fine those businesses that are recklessly not complying and just refusing to do so,” Adams said.
With the business sector seemingly handcuffed by these incoming booster mandates, hope looks bleak for the future of NYC’s economy.
At least our kids are safe and unaffected by these policies.
Well, not exactly.
Sure, they can go to school.
Just make sure they are fully vaccinated with the most recent Covid vaccine(s) and complementary booster shots.

Will businesses’ employees in NYC find Mayor de Blasio’s $100 raffle tempting enough to stay at their jobs?
I hope so…
