Melania Trump is probably my favorite first lady. Why you may ask?
Because she isn’t a hag who missed the last bus to the nursing home, and chose instead to get on a bus to The White House—that’s why.
It was refreshing to see a younger and beautiful woman occupy the role of first lady, and it was even more refreshing not to see her deliver tirades and sermons on gun violence, video games, and the war on drugs.
Melania continues her journey into the refreshing and innovative by issuing her own NFTs through the Solana blockchain.
What are NFTs? Simply put they are digital forms of art which can be used to do anything from securitizing the collectibles market, selling ‘hash’ or computing power to others, selling ownership rights, or simply retailing digital art.
These blockchain based digital assets have many uses, and the former first lady is using them to sell collectible digital forms of art.
The value of this art will appreciate in real time, and can be traded the same way we trade any other exchange traded instruments like stocks, bonds, index funds, ETF’s, forex, cryptocurrencies etc.
Let’s take a look:

Finbold reports:
The first NFT available on the platform is named “Melania’s Vision”. It’s a watercolor art by Marc-Antoine Coulon portraying Melania and an audio recording from her with a message of hope. The limited-edition NFT will be sold for 1 Solana (SOL) worth about $187 at the current rate.
Melania Trump is dabbling in non-fungible tokens. The 1st NFT, “Melania’s Vision,” uses watercolor art that “embodies Mrs. Trump’s cobalt blue eyes, providing the collector with an amulet to inspire,” a statement says. https://t.co/yYGpBi346r

Decrypt explains that neither MoonPay nor Solana solicited Melania’s business:
“I wanted to inform you, to avoid any confusion, that her choice to use the Solana blockchain was completely organic, and this project is not part of any Solana-led initiative,” the representative told Decrypt in a statement.
