Surprise, surprise everyone…another octogenarian who just won’t quit.
Nancy Pelosi will be turning 82 soon, but she is still in government. This is a pattern which has unfortunately become all too familiar in U.S. politics.
To give just one example, Joe Biden is 79 years old and appears to be rapidly deteriorating mentally speaking.
According to sources, Pelosi will be running for office yet again….
Hopefully, there will be someone there to unseat her. Almost all politicians are crooked, incompetent, or some combination of both, but Pelosi is a textbook example—a walking embodiment of all that is wrong with U.S. politics.
Here’s what sources are saying:
Running again is Pelosi's only option. If she bailed now, that'd probably set off a death spiral for House Dems. Which it's her job as leader to prevent. But I won't lie, I'd love to see her suffer a humiliating loss and hand the gavel over a second time. https://t.co/OnC2lQa1TT

CNN claims:
She is planning to file and run for reelection in her San Francisco district next year — at least for now — in keeping with her pattern of deciding about staying in Congress after the elections, when she likely will have won an 18th full term.
And sources familiar with Pelosi’s thinking say she isn’t ruling out the possibility of trying to stay in leadership after 2022, despite her original vow to leave as the top House Democrat. She’ll devote much of next year to raising money for Democrats as they try to hold their narrow majority, those sources tell CNN, adding to the nearly $1 billion her office calculates she has already raised for Democrats in her time as leader.

Features my interview with @ShahidForChange, a Muslim lawyer, who became the first Democrat in 33 years to challenge House Speaker Pelosi for her CA-12 seat in a general election.
He’s running again in 2022, despite orchestrated efforts to destroy him.https://t.co/rJyaoWRyZd

Conservative Brief had this to say:
In response, National Republican Congressional Committee’s spokesperson Mike Berg welcomed the news.
“Nancy Pelosi is the most unpopular politician in the country and will be an anchor around the campaign of every single vulnerable Democrat. The midterms will put an end to this power-drunk politician’s Speakership whether she likes it or not,” Berg said.
