The US officially has its first case of the OmicronCOVID variant.
The kicker being that it is a fully-vaccinated person …in California….
Who saw that coming…
The individual is said to be recovering from the “mild” symptoms according to Anthony Fauci, America’s most untrusted doctor, himself.
Despite this, Fauci is pointing to the fact that the individual hadn’t yet gotten the booster shot as an excuse to push Americans into getting said booster.
It’s the same old story over and over again…
CNN was quick to break the news of the first case in North America:
The United States' first confirmed case of the Omicron coronavirus variant has been identified in California.
In a White House news briefing, Dr. Anthony Fauci, director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, said the case was in an individual who traveled from South Africa on November 22 and tested positive for Covid-19 on November 29.
That individual, Fauci said, is self-quarantining and close contacts have tested negative for the coronavirus so far.The person was fully vaccinated and is experiencing "mild symptoms, which are improving at this point," Fauci said.
According to Anthony Fauci, "the individual was fully-vaccinated and experienced mild symptoms which are improving at this point."
Despite the fact that Omicron symptoms have thus far been described as "mild," the leftwing media is of course going to claim that the sky is falling...
The Associated Press has more on Fauci using this mild case as an excuse to push for more booster shots:
“We knew that it was just a matter of time before the first case of omicron would be detected in the United States,” Fauci said.
He said the person was improving and added, “I think what’s happening now is another example of why it’s important for people to get vaccinated. But also boosting. Boosting is very important.”
Officials said they had contacted everyone who had close contact with the person and they had all tested negative.
