Jussie Smollett Puts On Another Performance Ahead Of His Trial

Here’s a story you should be paying close attention to in weeks to come.

Jussie Smollett is finally being tried for lying about being allegedly attacked by two white supremacists who turned out to be two black brothers paid off by Smollett to wear MAGA hats and put on the charade.

This month has seen a few key trials with the acquittal of Kyle Rittenhouse being a major victory for justice and the people.

But will the Jussie Smollett case play out in the same way or will Americans be left without answers just like the 2020 election coverup?

Here’s Fox News with the full report:

Day one of Jussie Smollett’s trial has officially begun in Chicago with jury selection kicking off Monday.

The former “Empire” actor continues to argue he was the victim of a racist and homophobic assault in downtown Chicago late at night in January of 2019. Meanwhile, siblings Abimbola and Olabinjo Osundairo, who worked with him on the TV show, say he paid them $3,500 to pose as his attackers.

Smollett arrived at the court in a navy blue suit and wool coat to match with a white dress shirt and gray striped tie underneath. He wore a black face mask as he arrived at the building with his arms linked to his family members who were there to support him as he argues his innocence. He looked serious and stoic as he entered the courtroom with his supporters creating a wall around him. His family members accompanied him into the courtroom where they emotionally said goodbye and left him at the defense table to watch the proceedings elsewhere in the building.

Smollett is accused of lying to police about the alleged attack and has been charged with felony disorderly conduct. A class 4 felony, the crime carries a sentence of up to three years in prison but experts have said it is more likely that if Smollett is convicted he would be placed on probation and perhaps ordered to perform community service.

However, the actor and director previously pleaded not guilty on renewed charges stemming from the incident, and instead maintains his original story, arguing that the $3,500 check was simply for the duo being his personal trainer.

The brothers are expected to testify at trial and repeat what they told police in the past, that Smollett paid them to carry out the attack in order to raise his public profile. Meanwhile, it has not been determined if Smollett will take the stand in his own defense.

Once they are selected, jurors will likely see surveillance video from more than four dozen cameras that police reviewed to trace the brothers’ movements before and after the reported attack, as well as a video showing the brothers purchasing a red hat, ski masks and gloves from a beauty supply shop hours earlier.

So let’s get the facts straight.

There is video evidence tracing the brothers’ movement before the attack, video evidence of them purchasing costumes, and police testimony that Smollett paid the brothers to stage the whole thing as a PR stunt.

Am I missing anything?

Oh yeah, and the brothers are black…

Not exactly the white supremacist profile wouldn’t you say?

Or who knows maybe they identify as white.

When the incident first happened and the two brothers came out with the truth everyone from the left to the right wanted to see Smollett behind bars.

Here’s CBS Chicago with mayor Lightfoots statement on the matter:

“He needs to face the charges. He committed a crime, and he needs to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, and we are going to continue to aggressively make him accountable for the wasted police resources that went into investigating what turned out to be a total hoax,” Mayor Lightfoot said.

You read that right.

The most liberal mayor in America wants this guy to pay for what he did.

So why was Smollett allowed to walk free until his trial?

Well when you have deep ties with higher-ups like the Obamas, the law doesn’t apply to you in the same way that it does to everyone else.

It used to be that if you were rich you didn’t face charges, today it seems like if you are rich and part of the left you don’t face charges.

So why is this trial so important?

Well, it turns out that today we have a lot of people in Washington that have committed crimes against the American people, Biden, Fauci, Harriss to name a few.

If Smollett ends up not walking or with a mild sentence like community service, the left will continue to pursue their agenda without fear of persecution.

Here’s how Twitter is reacting the to trial:

On a lighter note you have to admit that conservatives are legitimately much funnier than liberals, honestly, does anyone watch SNL anymore?

Ok back to the story.

What’s really worrying about the whole thing is how confident Smollett looks going into court.

When you look at Kyle Rittenhouse you see fear in his eyes, not because he did something wrong but because he doesn’t know what the prosecution is willing to do to throw a 17-year-old in jail.

Smollett looks calm, composed, well dressed, and confident.

He is sticking to his not-guilty plea and continues to express that he was attacked by racist white supremacists.

My question is; why?

Why is Smollett so confident?

What has he been assured of and by who?

I will be following this story closely what about you?
