The EU recommended a 9-month time limit before the validity of COVID-19 passports expire for travelers.

As many European nations face another wave of COVID-19 cases, the EU wants to shift the framework to allow travelers into the bloc.

Instead of relying on caseloads from their country of origin, the EU wants to use inoculation status for individual travelers.

Those who don’t want boosters every 6-9 months can kiss their European trips goodbye (unless it’s to a nation outside of the bloc).

The European Union is considering a nine-month expiration date on its Covid-19 vaccine certificates, which allow tourists certain freedoms to travel while the coronavirus pandemic still rages.

The European Commission, the executive arm of the EU, proposed Thursday that the EU Digital Covid Certificate should be updated. This document has allowed people to travel more easily amid the pandemic by outlining their vaccination status, whether they have recently recovered from the virus, or whether they have recently tested negative.

The policy shift is yet more indication of the broken promises Big Pharma and health officials relayed to the public at the onset of the COVID-19 jab rollout.

Instead of “virtual 100% efficacy,” the goalposts changed to complete failure every 6-9 months.

Thus, the introduction of a Big Pharma subscription model to restore your freedom to travel.

EU Justice Commissioner Didier Reynders announced on Thursday a new internal EU travel framework based more on individuals’ vaccination or recovery status than on caseloads in the countries they’re coming from. A separate announcement on the external travel rules is scheduled for later Thursday.

The proposed updates introduce the new time limit for the validity of Covid inoculations, making clear that boosters will be needed beyond the 9-month period. But the EU said it wasn’t ready to propose a validity period for certificates issued based on booster shots.
