BREAKING: Kamala Harris is Acting President of the United States

Kamala Harris is officially the president of the United States.

Under the 25th Amendment, Biden is no longer president and Harris is the first woman to hold presidential powers.

HOWEVER, it’s temporary and likely to last only several hours.

Biden made a trip to Walter Reed Medical Center for a routine physical and will also undergo a colonoscopy.

While he’s under anesthesia, Harris is acting president of the United States under Section 3 of the 25th Amendment.

George W. Bush underwent the same procedure in 2002 and 2007.

From BNO News:

“As was the case when President George W. Bush had the same procedure in 2002 and 2007, and following the process set out in the Constitution, President Biden will transfer power to the Vice President for the brief period of time when he is under anesthesia,” she said.

Psaki said Acting President Harris will work from her office in the West Wing while Biden undergoes the colonoscopy. She added that a further statement will be released later on Friday afternoon.

Harris will be the third person and the first woman in U.S. history to serve as acting president. Vice President George H. W. Bush assumed the position for 8 hours while Ronald Reagan underwent surgery in 1985, and Dick Cheney served as acting president in 2002 and 2007, about 2 hours on each occasion.

Will this be the closest Harris comes to sniffing the role of president?

Or, is today her test run before a permanent removal of Biden?

Earlier this week, FOX News reported that a high-level confirmation in the House of Representatives is being prepared.

That indicates a possible new vice president in the works.
