Liz Cheney has been wandering around pretending to be a republican for a long time now.
Apparently the Wyoming GOP has had enough.
They hilariously voted to no longer recognize Cheney as a member of the party by a vote of 31-29.
Cheney and her 19% approval rating are no longer welcome.
Cheney called the vote “laughable,” while President Donald Trump is now endorsing one of her upcoming opponents, Harriet Hageman.
While some democrats are now showing support for Cheney, she has effectivbely become politically homeless.
The New York Post with the breaking news:
The Wyoming Republican Party has voted to no longer recognize GOP Congresswoman Liz Cheney as a member due to her repeated criticism of former President Donald Trump.
The party’s central committee voted 31-29 over the weekend to take the step against Cheney, the daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.
Newsmax has more on the decision, and what it could mean for Cheney's future:
She's now facing at least four Republican opponents in the 2022 primary including Cheyenne attorney Harriet Hageman, whom Trump has endorsed. Hageman in a statement called the latest state GOP central committee vote “fitting,” the Casper Star-Tribune reported.
"Liz Cheney stopped recognizing what Wyomingites care about a long time ago. When she launched her war against President Trump, she completely broke with where we are as a state,” Hageman said.
Harriet Hageman is facing off against Cheney with the full support of President Donald Trump.
Republicans are rejoicing over the vote, as they already believe Cheney to be a bad actor for the democrats.
