Winsome Sears made history on Tuesday night, becoming the first black female elected to statewide office in Virginia.
Sears is a Republican, so naturally the media had a meltdown.
Well… Winsome Sears isn’t holding back.
She challenged MSNBC’s Joy Reid to invite her onto the show for a debate.
Winsome said:
I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show. Let’s see if she’s woman enough to do that. I’d go in a heartbeat.
So what prompted Winsome to say this?
Reid accused the Republican party of being racist.
But think about it:
Would racist and sexist voters elect a black woman to statewide office?
Nope.
So, Reid’s attack is a pathetic attempt to play dirty politics, and Winsome isn’t having ANY of it.

Winsome is sharp, charismatic, and disarming.
We wouldn’t be surprised if Reid is too scared to have Winsome on her show!
The Wrap reports:
Winsome Sears — the first woman and first woman of color elected lieutenant governor of Virginia on Tuesday night — called out Joy Reid after watching the MSNBC host describe the GOP as “dangerous.”
“I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show — let’s see if she’s woman enough to do that — I’d go in a heartbeat and we’d have a real discussion without Joy speaking about me behind my back, if you will,” Sears said during her appearance on Fox’s “The Story with Martha MacCallum” Wednesday afternoon.
MacCallum asked Sears to respond to a segment in which Reid described the GOP as “stoking that kind of soft white nationalism.” Reid said this after Republican Glenn Youngkin won Virginia’s gubernatorial race against Democrat Terry McAuliffe Tuesday night.

It’s not uncommon for conservative hosts to have liberals on their programs.
We’re not afraid of free speech and debate.
We believe that our ideas get stronger and tougher thanks to public discourse.
But it appears as though liberals prefer keeping their echo chambers exclusive to far left ideology.

Winsome is already a rising star on the right.
It’s clear that the voters of Virginia love her.
The Daily Wire confirms Winsome’s challenge to Reid:
Virginia Lt. Governor-elect Winsome Sears challenged MSNBC host Joy Reid for an invite on the left-leaning network after Reid claimed the GOP is “dangerous” for stoking “white nationalism.”
Sears is Jamaican, a former Marine, and, after Tuesday, is the first woman of color elected to statewide office in Virginia. She defeated Democrat Hala Ayala, a member of the state’s House of Delegates, in a GOP sweep of state offices that brought Republicans into the governorship and office of state attorney general, as well.
Sears appeared on Fox News on Wednesday to react to a clip of Reid claiming that Republicans are “dangerous to our national security” for “stoking that kind of soft white nationalism [that] eventually leads to the hardcore stuff.”
“I wish Joy Reid would invite me on her show. Let’s see if she’s woman enough to do that. I’d go in a heartbeat and we’d have a real discussion without Joy speaking about me behind my back, if you will,” Sears responded. “I mean, Joy, come on. Get your facts straight and then come talk to me.”
Sears also put out a challenge to former ESPN anchor Jemele Hill to come on MSNBC as well for a “panel discussion.” Hill reacted to Republicans’ winning in Virginia by blaming “white supremacy.”
Now…
I personally don’t like watching MSNBC.
It gives me a headache and it sure isn’t good for my blood pressure.
But if Joy Reid has Winsome Sears on air, then I’ll definitely be tuning in!
How about you?
While we're at it, let's make it a panel and invite @jemelehill to join in some thoughtful dialogue! https://t.co/Fs5t3uGaxX
