HHS Assistant Secretary of Health Rachel Levine just made history.
She has made history as the “first-ever female 4-star admiral.”
Many people will note, however, that she is not the first-ever female-born 4-star admiral.
As HHS Assistant Secretary of Health, we are supposed to look up to Levine for health guidance and advice.
Levine was appointed by Biden himself earlier this year.
As a 4-star admiral, Levine will now lead the U.S. Public Health Service Commissioned Corps.

Levine made headlines earlier this year for her controversial stance of supporting gender surgery among minors.
The Left has championed children being able to get their sex changed.
In some instances, they want this to happen without parental consent.
The New York Post confirms Levine’s historic day:
Assistant Health Secretary Rachel Levine made history Tuesday by becoming the first openly transgender four-star officer in America’s eight uniformed services.
Levine, 63, was ceremonially sworn in as an admiral in the US Public Health Service Commissioned Corps by Surgeon General Vivek Murthy, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) announced.
“I am deeply honored & grateful to join the ranks of men & women across this great nation who have committed to defend the United States against small & large threats, known and unknown,” Levine tweeted upon her swearing-in. “I promise to uphold that trust to the fullest extent of my abilities.”
“Admiral Levine’s historic appointment as the first openly transgender four-star officer is a giant step forward towards equality as a nation. This is a proud moment for us at HHS,” department secretary Xavier Becerra said in a statement.
Becerra went on to describe Levine as “a highly accomplished pediatrician who helps drive our agency’s agenda to boost health access and equity and to strengthen behavioral health” and “a cherished and critical partner in our work to build a healthier America.”
Many social media users are mocking Levine.
Why?
Because Levine claims that she will “follow the science.”
Upon being sworn in, Admiral Rachel Levine said, “I will follow the science.”
Maybe Rachel should start by recognizing that there are only 2 genders.https://t.co/RMrMPLHwsW

I'd take health advice from Mayor McCheese and Captain Crunch before Admiral Rachel Levine.

Rachel Levine says she'll "follow the science."
That's all. That's the tweet.

Rachel Levine sent thousands of Pennsylvania's senior citizens to their deaths in nursing homes after taking his own mother out of one and has now been promoted to four-star admiral because we are no longer a serious country https://t.co/yCgyC2FH3N

The Biden Administration called “Rachel” Levine a female. Not woman. Female. Notice how the whole “sex and gender are different things” shtick has been entirely abandoned by the Left. They now demand that we accept males as biological females.

Rather than talking about Levine’s credentials…
Rather than talking about Levine’s qualifications…
The media is focusing on the fact that she is the first openly transgender four-star admiral.
Side note: does this mean that there have been closed four-star admirals?
CBS News confirms:
Assistant Secretary of Health Dr. Rachel Levine made United States history Tuesday as the first openly transgender four-star officer in any of the nation’s eight uniformed services, the Department of Health and Human Services announced. The former pediatrician’s appointment also made her the nation’s first female four-star admiral in history.
“This is a momentous occasion and I am pleased to take this role for the impact I can make, and for the historic nature of what it symbolizes,” Levine said Tuesday in a statement. “May this appointment be the first of many like it as we create a more inclusive future.”
Levine was sworn in as a four-star admiral at a ceremony Tuesday, making her the highest ranking official in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps, according to the HHS. Levine will lead the department’s 6,000 Public Health Service officers, respond to the COVID-19 pandemic and “build a stronger foundation for a healthier future,” the HHS said.
