It looks like the COVID protests have come to New York City.
All over the world, hundreds of thousands have been protesting against lockdowns and mandates.
The protests have been particularly intense in Australia and France.
And now you can add NYC to the list.

It is estimated that approximately 4,000 teachers have been fired as a result of the vaccine mandate.
They are also excluding vaccinated people from society, banning them from restaurants, bars, and any venue of entertainment.
Now, tens of thousands have taken to the streets to protest.
In one tense moment, the crowd flipped over a COVID-19 testing site.

Apparently this happened in Manhattan.
Remember, NYC is deep blue on the electoral college map.
It’s a very Democrat city.
So if people are coming out in the tens of thousands to protest, then you know that the Democrats are in deep trouble.
Business Insider confirms the incident:
Anti-vaccine protesters in Manhattan tore down a mobile COVID-19 testing site tent during a Monday demonstration against the vaccine mandate in New York City, Vice News reported.
Protesters marched through the city to demonstrate against a city-wide mandate requiring all city workers — including teachers and school staff — to be vaccinated against COVID-19 or be tested weekly. The march eventually gathered outside the Department of Education in Brooklyn.
During the demonstration, some protesters knocked over a tent and flipped the table and chairs at a mobile testing center in Union Square in New York.
New York City’s vaccine mandate for school teachers and staff took effect on October 4, the same day as the protest.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said, as of Monday morning, 95% of the city’s 148,000 public school staffers had received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the Associated Press reported.
“Our parents need to know their kids will be safe,” de Blasio said, citing the AP report. “They entrust us with their children. That’s what this mandate is all about. Every adult in our schools is now vaccinated, and that’s going to be the rule going forward.”
The protest was HUGE.
If these crowds begin to grow, then NYC might truly look like Australia and France.

City employees are also at risk of getting fired.
As many as 8,000 government employees may be fired due to this mandate.
CBS Local New York explains:
New York City’s mandate requiring all public school employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19 took effect Monday.
Mayor Bill de Blasio said 95% of full-time workers have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
“As of today, all the employees in our 1,600 schools are vaccinated, and that is unprecedented,” said de Blasio, who added he is confident in how the city is handling the mandate.
“Ninety-five percent of all full-time DOE employees are vaccinated, 96% of all teachers, 99% of all principals,” de Blasio said.
Approximately 8,000 out of all 148,000 DOE employees, 3,000 out of 78,000 teachers and 12 out of 1,600 principals are unvaccinated. Most were replaced with substitutes, CBS2’s John Dias reported.
Unvaccinated teachers who were turned away at their schools joined a rally against the mayor’s vaccine mandate. Thousands marched across the Brooklyn Bridge to City Hall with a message. As other anti-vaxxers joined the march, it got destructive. Some even flipped over a COVID-19 testing tent in Union Square.
But while they were making a lot of noise, they are still very much in the minority, reported CBS2’s Jessica Layton.
“I refused to get vaccinated,” said Stefanie Deliteris, a paraprofessional.
Unfortunately, the media wants to tout anyone with individual thinking as an “anti-vaxxer.”
Many people have anti-bodies from COVID that are stronger than the vaccine.
Many of those people might have gotten the vaccine, but now that they have the antibodies, they don’t want to.
That’s not anti-vax.
But that’s how the media will spin it.
