DeSantis No Longer Running

Ron DeSantis has been doing a lot of things right.

He has fought against everything from vaccine mandates, and vaccine passports, to the racial bigotry of critical race theory.

Many had hoped that he would make a run for President, or at the very least run as VP on a Trump/DeSantis 2024 ticket.

According to the latest reports, Ron DeSantis will not be running for President in 2024, and President Trump has even issued a statement saying that he would beat him if they ran against each other.

Are these signals that indicate a Trump/DeSantis 2024 ticket is coming?

Take a look, and decide for yourself:

Conservative Brief reports that DeSantis is no longer considering a 2024 run:

“I’m not considering anything beyond doing my job. We got a lot of stuff going on in Florida. I’m going to be running for reelection next year,” the Republican told Fox News host Sean Hannity.

“And we are also working on a lot of things in the state beyond just the governor’s race. We got school board races, Sean. I want to make sure people are not supporting Critical Race Theory, making sure that, you know, parents have the ability to send their kids to school the way they want to. So there’s a lot of huge issues. That is way down the road, it’s not anything that I’m planning for,” he added.

Fox News had more on President Trump’s comments:

But if Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, whose standing among conservatives has skyrocketed over the past year and a half, also makes a bid for the 2024 GOP nomination, Trump emphasizes, “I’d beat him.”

The former president made his comments in excerpts released Sunday from an interview with Yahoo Finance that’s scheduled to be published on Monday.
