Newsweek Editor-At-Large: What Should Afghan Women Do If US Gov’t Tries to Resettle Them to Texas?

It’s no secret that the media is out of touch with the country.

But now…

We’re seeing just how out-of-touch the mainstream media has become.

They’re so out of touch that they think that Afghan women (refugees) would rather return to Afghanistan than be re-settled in Texas.

Seriously!

Democrats think that the Texas pro-life law is so “invasive” and “oppressive” that Afghan women would be better in Afghanistan.

Nevermind-the-fact that women are killed in Afghanistan if they show too much skin.

They are refused education.

They are not seen as equals.

Yet Texas is the “bad guy.”

Newsweek editor-at-large Naveed Jamali posed this question on Twitter:

If you’re an Afghan woman and they offer to resettle you in Texas, what do you do?

To make things worse, Jamali appeared to DEFEND the Taliban.

But that’s not all.

He appeared to make the Taliban sound better than the Republican party

He wrote:

Twitchy is the only outlet that has picked up on this incredibly tone-deaf Tweet.

Now, the Tweet is bad enough from anyone.

But it is especially bad coming from the editor-at-large of a major publication: Newsweek.

This shows us that the mainstream media is truly out-of-touch.

If you thought the CNN guest who wants President Biden to create a federal force of abortion providers and send them to Texas was an “out there” take, here’s a Newsweek editor-at-large and “Navy intel veteran” (according to his Twitter bio) taking Texas triggering to the next ridiculous level.

Oh, most certainly the woman would ask to be sent back to Afghanistan instead (cue mother of all eye rolls).

Fortunately, most people on social media appear to be pointing out the hypocrisy.
