Recently we brought you coverage on a missing Congressman in Afghanistan.
There was a lot of speculation as to his status when his communications abruptly stopped and he was reported missing……
We are happy to announce that he has since resumed communication, and explained that he had to maintain radio silence because it wasn’t safe.
Congressman Mullin went to Afghanistan in an effort to bring back our citizens abandoned by Biden’s Administration, and trapped in a Taliban controlled country.

I cannot believe we left Americans behind. This is unacceptable and shameful.
I will continue to pray for our soldiers, American citizens, and our Afghan allies who are stuck in Afghanistan. https://t.co/Dys34gC2xA

Fox News reports:
“I am heading home,” Mullin said in a Wednesday morning post. “Have we been helping get Americans out of Afghanistan, yes. Is the mission continuing, yes. Am I missing, no. Did I go dark for a little, yes because it wasn’t safe to be communicating.”
Mullin went on to criticize President Biden for his handling of the evacuation of Americans and allies from Afghanistan during the U.S. military’s withdrawal, which left more than 100 Americans remaining.
“President Biden and his administration are absolutely lying to the American people about Americans and our friends being left behind,” he said.
Rep. Markwayne Mullin's spokesperson Meredith Blanford: "Congressman Mullin has been and is currently completely safe."

Politically, I may not see eye-to-eye with Congressman Markwayne Mullin. But as an American, I wish him success and safety in his mission to rescue Americans trapped in Afghanistan. #BringThemHome

Tensions seemed to have run high between Congressman Mullin and embassy officials, during his daring rescue mission, according to The Hill:
According to the Post, Mullin told embassy staffers that he was planning to hire a helicopter to go into Afghanistan so he could rescue a family of five Americans, one woman and her four children. He reportedly needed assistance in bypassing Tajikistan’s laws on cash limits.
Staffers told the Post that Mullin, 44, became furious when his request was denied, threatening them as well as U.S. Ambassador to Tajikistan John Mark Pommersheim. The report did not describe how the GOP lawmaker allegedly threatened the staffers.
