Where’s Biden?
Kabul has pretty much fallen to Taliban forces at this point and the newest reports are alleging that the Kabul Airport is currently under fire from the Taliban……..
As I look at the images and reports on social media I ask myself only one thing…….
How did it come to this?
This is the most shameful thing since Saigon, However, Saigon’s story ended out happily—or at least as happy as it could have.
I don’t think Afghanistan is going to be as lucky…….
The descent into hell that Afghanistan is presently on is going to utterly destroy that country in a way which I can’t say for Vietnam.
For all its flaws, Vietnam is still a habitable country.
Sure it isn’t perfect, but at least the beard police aren’t locking you up, and women aren’t raped en masse by armed ‘virtue’ police.
Here are the latest developments:

Taliban now control the US Embassy in Kabul, Presidential palace & airport.
Kabul is in chaos, panic & mayhem.
Americans being told to "shelter in place" while bloodthirsty jihadists hunt them.
There will be American hostages & bloodshed.
All of it will be Joe Biden's fault.

The Epoch Times reports:
The U.S. Embassy in Afghanistan advised Americans to “shelter in place” amid reports that the Kabul Airport, one of the main exit points from Afghanistan, is taking fire from Taliban terrorists.
In a bulletin sent out on Sunday, the U.S. Department of State said that “the security situation in Kabul is changing quickly including at the airport.”
“There are reports of the airport taking fire; therefore we are instructing U.S. citizens to shelter in place,” the agency wrote. It added, “Do not call the U.S. Embassy in Kabul for details or updates about the flight.”
Afghan government forces, meanwhile, turned over nearby Bagram airbase to the Taliban, according to district chief Darwaish Raufi, reported The Associated Press. About 5,000 prisoners held by both the Taliban and ISIS at the airbase were released, officials said.
Civilian flights cannot leave the Kabul airport because people overwhelm the planes.

The New York Post had more:
The embassy urged the families of US citizens in the troubled nation to file forms for immigrant visas “as soon as possible.”
US Ambassador Ross Wilson is among those gathered at the capital city’s airport Sunday after Taliban forces entered Kabul earlier in the day, with Afghan forces quickly capitulating as US troops moved out in recent days, CNN said.
“People here woke up to the news in the morning that the Taliban was at the gates, just outside Kabul,” CNN correspondent Clarissa Ward said. “There was chaos in the streets.
