The CDC flip flops yet AGAIN!
When are we going to get some straight talk out of these people? Also, when are we going to see some rationality on Covid vaccines? These things should clearly be optional—NOT forced.
A recent interview with CDC Director Rochelle Walensky contains a pretty stunning admission from The CDC Director.
She tells CNN that these vaccines no longer protect against transmission of the virus.
My question is, did they ever?
Most Covid cases are not lethal, and that number is reported to be as high as 98-99% of cases. Given that almost no cases are lethal, and most people don’t even contract the virus, why do we even need a vaccine?
Take a look at what Rochelle Walensky said in the interview:
CDC Director Admits to CNN That COVID Vaccines Don't prevent transmission of the virus. This is in stark definition to what they have been telling us for months. The CDC continues to flip flop….https://t.co/SPCxT42LqS #CDC #RochelleWalensky

Walensky’s recent comments were dissected by Becker News:
CDC Director Rochelle Walensky has touted the COVID vaccines as a means to keep the public safe from the coronavirus. However, it turns out that the vaccines don’t even prevent transmission of the virus, throwing into question whether taking the vaccines is a matter of public health, rather than a matter of personal choice.
On Friday, Walensky made the admission to CNN’s Wolf Blitzer that the COVID vaccines, which are still under Emergency Use Authorization, don’t perform as well as advertised.
“Our vaccines are working exceptionally well,” Walensky claimed. “They continue to work well for Delta with regard to severe illness and death, they prevent it. But what they can’t do anymore is prevent transmission.”

Please stop with these headlines! More importantly, only 4 fully vaccinated people were hospitalized and 🚨NONE of them died. This shows that vaccines protect against serious illness, but don’t prevent transmission, so WEAR A MASK and #GetVaccinated pic.twitter.com/ntionOkn1R

Still, Fauci and other public health officials continue to push max vaccination as reported by CNBC:
The White House chief medical advisor made those remarks amid rising Covid cases nationwide, due largely to the virus’s newly dominant and more transmissible delta variant, during an interview with ABC’s “This Week” on Sunday. Though it’s tough to imagine a situation more dire than the country’s current surge, “we’re looking to some pain and suffering in the future because we’re seeing the cases go up,” Fauci said.
Delta has run rampant through the U.S. in recent weeks, surpassing last summer’s peak of new daily cases and hitting the country’s relatively large population of unvaccinated people — 50% as of Thursday afternoon — particularly hard. Experts suggest the U.S. needs a 90% vaccination rate to reach herd immunity, given delta’s keen ability to spread.
