FLASHBACK: Joe Biden Himself Said Cuomo MUST Resign if Allegations Were Proven True

Here’s a question for you…

If ANY of the sexual assault allegations against President Trump were actually proven true, do you think he would have been forced to resign?

Of course!

There’s no question about it.

Yet…

Despite the Attorney General CONFIRMING that the sexual assault allegations against Governor Andrew Cuomo are indeed true, Cuomo is refusing to resign.

In fact, he claims that he intends on running for re-election!

How hypocritical is that?!

Well, this reminded us of something Joe Biden said in March.

Yes…

Biden ACTUALLY said something that was cognizant.

And hey, we actually agree with him.

Bipartisanship is good, right?!

Well, Biden said explicitly that if the sexual assault allegations against Cuomo were true, that Cuomo should resign immediately!

Don’t believe us?

See it for yourself:

But it appears Biden has already changed his mind.

How do we know he’s flip flopped?

Well…

Today, a reporter asked Biden about his previous comments.

And guess what?

Biden SNAPPED at the reporter.

Don’t forget, when Trump “snapped,” it was an attack on the press.

But Biden snaps left and right!

Here’s the latest example:

Don’t worry, Joe.

We’d be embarrassed, too, if we had previously called Cuomo the “gold standard.”

Our friends at the National Review have more details:

In March, President Biden said that Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation confirmed the sexual assault allegations against him:

President Joe Biden said in an interview aired Tuesday that Democratic New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo should resign if an investigation confirms the allegations of sexual harassment against him.

Asked by ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos if Cuomo should step down if the investigation confirms the allegations, Biden replied, “Yes.”

“I think he’ll probably end up being prosecuted, too,” Biden said.

Today, an investigation confirmed the sexual assault allegations against Cuomo:

ALBANY – Gov. Andrew Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women in violation of state and federal laws as well as the executive chamber’s own written policies, according to a long-anticipated report Tuesday from the state Attorney General’s Office.

The bombshell report by a pair of attorneys selected by Attorney General Letitia James details cases of harassment by the governor that include unwanted groping, kissing, hugging and inappropriate comments directed toward current and former employees.

It also contends Cuomo and his senior staff had retaliated against at least one former employee, fostered a toxic workplace that enabled the harassment to occur and created a hostile work environment.

There is no wriggle room for Biden here. Not only has Cuomo been found wanting by the standard Biden himself set out, but, as he has made clear repeatedly, Biden does not believe in due process for those who are accused of sexual assault (unless they’re made against him).

We’re not taking anything out of context, are we?

Joe’s words seem pretty clear.

And the report confirming Cuomo’s guilt is pretty clear as well.

So…

Will the Democrats and the #MeToo feminists force Cuomo out of office?

Or was the #MeToo movement just a show to damage President Trump?

Even the liberal media can’t spin their way out of this one.

Sometimes, the facts are just impossible to spin.

The truth is the truth.

Here’s what the New York Times is saying:

Gov. Andrew M. Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women, including current and former government workers, breaking state and federal laws and engaging in a pattern of unwanted touching and inappropriate comments, according to a much anticipated report from the New York State attorney general, Letitia James, released on Tuesday.

The 165-page report said that Mr. Cuomo, a third-term Democrat, and his aides cultivated a toxic work culture in his office that was rife with fear and intimidation, and helped enable “harassment to occur and created a hostile work environment.”

The report included at least two previously unreported allegations of sexual harassment from women who accused Mr. Cuomo of improperly touching them, including an unnamed female state trooper and an employee of an energy company. And it highlighted at least one instance in which Mr. Cuomo and his aides retaliated against one of the women who made her allegations public.

“Governor Cuomo sexually harassed current and former state employees in violation of both federal and state laws,” Ms. James said. “The independent investigation found that Governor Cuomo harassed multiple women, many of whom were young women, by engaging in unwanted groping, kisses, hugging, and by making inappropriate comments.”

Ms. James said the report revealed “a deeply disturbing, yet clear picture” and “conduct that corrodes the very fabric and character of our state government and shines light on injustice that can be present at the highest levels of government.”

Shortly after the release of the report, the Albany County district attorney, David Soares, said in a statement that his office was conducting an investigation into Mr. Cuomo’s behavior.

Mr. Soares said that the office would be requesting investigative materials that the attorney general’s office had obtained, and encouraged other victims to contact his office. The Albany police department had previously been notified of some of the behavior in the report, including that the governor had groped the breast of a female aide.

Responding to the report from Albany shortly after, Mr. Cuomo reiterated his contention that he had never touched anyone inappropriately, declaring that “the facts are much different from what has been portrayed.”

“I never touched anyone inappropriately or made inappropriate sexual advances,” he said in what appeared to be a prerecorded message. “I am 63 years old. I have lived my entire adult life in public view. That is just not who I am, and that’s not who I have ever been.”

In the spirit of unity…

In the spirit of fairness…

We say that the media and the left should embrace the Trump standard.

However they would have treated Trump, they should treat Cuomo.

Fair is fair.

Right is right.

But for some reason, we doubt they’ll actually hold themselves to that standard.
