US Women’s Soccer Team Suffers Humiliating Loss at Olympics After Kneeling For BLM

Americans on Twitter reacted with mockery of the anti-American women's team.

Megan Rapinoe and the US women’s soccer team just had their 44 game winning streak ended in the opening round of the Olympic games.

The US team lost 3-0 to Sweden.

Notably, and not surprisingly, the US team kneeled before the game during the National Anthem.

Ironically, they kneeled in defeat after the game.

Rapinoe and company had already turned their backs on America, the flag, and its people by refusing to stand for the National Anthem on multiple occasions before this.

Instead, they have been vocal in their support for the Marxist group Black Lives Matter.

Now, America is returning the favor.

The US team is being mocked relentlessly on social media following this embarassing loss.

Our friends at the Daily Wire have more on the embarassment that has become the US Women's soccer team:

The U.S. women’s soccer team took a devastating 3-0 loss to Sweden early Wednesday morning in their Tokyo Olympic opener, breaking their 44-game winning streak.

All 22 players on Team USA took a knee in solidarity with the radical leftist group Black Lives Matter before the game, a major point of contention with U.S. fans.

U.S. came into the Tokyo Games with the number one ranking in the world. Sweden is ranked fifth in the world and notably knocked out Team USA on penalty kicks in the 2016 Olympics in the quarterfinals.

The two teams last paired off in April, which resulted in a 1-1 draw, the only game the U.S. women had not won since January 2019.

The Associated Press broke down the women’s Wednesday loss:

Blackstenius’ header into the far corner off a cross from Sofia Jakobsson in the 26th minute gave Sweden the first-half lead.

The United States came out stale, with its best chance of the opening half coming in the final moments when Rose Lavelle’s shot hit the post. Coach Vlatko Andonovski made changes for the second half, subbing in Carli Lloyd for Alex Morgan and Julie Ertz for Sam Mewis.

But Blackstenius scored again in the 54th minute, beating goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, as the Americans continued to struggle. Lina Hurtig then scored in the 72nd.

The ladies on US Women's soccer team turned their backs on their country long ago.

Now the country has rightfully turned their backs on the team:

The Babylon Bee couldn't help itself...

More on the loss from Fox News, including reaction from Megan Rapinoe:

The U.S. women’s soccer team had its 44-game winning streak snapped in its first match of the Tokyo Olympics on Wednesday, losing to Sweden 3-0.

While the opening ceremonies don’t get started until Friday, the U.S. women’s soccer team is among the handful of squads who start days before the Games officially get underway. But the early opportunity to get a quick win to start the Games was nullified.

Sweden got started early with a Stina Blackstenius header from the right side, beating American goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher.

Blackstenius would score again in the 54th minute of the match to put Sweden up two goals, and the final nail in the coffin for the U.S. would come from Linda Hurting, who replaced Blackstenius in the 64th minute.

"It is what it is. We got bopped, and we have two more games coming quick and fast. And now we know exactly what we need to do. We need to win these games and eventually get out of the group and go from there," the U.S.' Megan Rapinoe said after the game.
