New RSC Video Shows Who Really Wanted To Defund The Police

A picture is worth a thousand words.

A video is worth even more than that.

For the past week, the Dems have been trying a new tactic. Shift the blame.

Well, it’s not really a new tactic, is it? They’ve been doing it since before Jim Crow.

Anyway, the new blame shift involved the “Defund the Police” movement.

Apparently, Defunding the police hasn’t really been working. What a shocker! Turns out, if you reduce police, crime goes up!

Shootings in Chicago are up by 60%. New York has declared a national emergency because of the rise in shootings. So what do the Dems do? Blame the Republicans!

The Washington Post gave the claim 3 Pinocchio’s.

According to The Police Tribune:

The Washington Post’s fact checking machine called out President Joe Biden’s administration for lying about who it was that wanted to defund the police and awarded the White House “Three Pinocchios” on the newspaper’s truth scale.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki and Cedric Richmond, a senior advisor to President Biden, tried to flip the narrative after months of leftist democrats calling to defund or entirely abolish police departments across the country, FOX News reported.

The Hill called out Psaki for elevating the art of “spinning” the news to actually attempting to “gaslight” public opinion.

But that didn’t stop the Left from continuing to recite the talking points. After all, if you repeat a lie enough times it turns into the truth, right?

According to Yahoo!

White House press secretary Jen Psaki hesitated to name names on Wednesday when asked about a White House claim that some Republican lawmakers defunded police departments by voting against the president’s agenda, but she did defend the claim.

Cedric Richmond, a senior adviser to President Joe Biden, first made the claim on Monday morning, but Psaki defended his remarks later that day.

Fox News’s Peter Doocy broached the subject again during Wednesday’s White House press briefing and asked to which specific GOP members Psaki was referring.

“Well, first, let me just note that the president ran and won the most votes of any candidate in history on a platform of boosting funding for law enforcement after Republicans spent decades trying to cut the COPS program,” she responded. “That doesn’t require anyone having new comments, and then also stood in the way of crucial funding needed to prevent the laying off of police officers as crimes increase. That’s a simple statement of fact.”

A simple statement of fact. Sure.

But the Republicans are striking back. Check out this new ad they just released listing all the places where the Democrats have called for Defunding the Police:

It’s hard to argue against the truth when it’s blasted in your face, isn’t it?
