The D.C. AG Issues Facebook Subpoena For Data On Users Who Spread Covid “Misinformation”

Covid-1984 is here, and Karl Racine wants to get YOU for “wrong-think”.

The D.C. Attorney General issued a subpoena to Facebook to get records on ALL users who allegedly spread Covid-19 “misinformation”, according to sources.

His goal?

To decrease vaccine “hesitancy”. It’s too bad that Karl doesn’t know that the best way to eliminate vaccine hesitancy is to have a government and institutions which do not consistently lie to the people.

Governments and institutions that do not attempt to bully or force their citizens into being human guinea pigs, and into making choices they would NOT make voluntarily.

Karl Racine represents everything wrong with Democrats, and exactly why we need to fight to make America great again.

Here’s what he has planned:

Politico had more on the story:

Racine, a Democrat, is calling on Facebook to release by the end of next week an internal study it conducted looking into vaccine hesitancy among its users, as first revealed by news reports in March.

The subpoena, filed June 21, also calls on Facebook to provide records identifying all groups, pages and accounts that have violated its policies against Covid-19 misinformation and documents detailing how many resources the tech giant has devoted to the cause.

“Facebook has said it’s taking action to address the proliferation of COVID-19 vaccine misinformation on its site,” Abbie McDonough, director of communications for Racine, told POLITICO. “But then when pressed to show its work, Facebook refused. AG Racine’s investigation aims to make sure Facebook is truly taking all steps possible to minimize vaccine misinformation on its site and support public health.”

National Review had this to say:

While Democrats have urged tech companies to eliminate dissent on the Internet regarding the vaccine, the nature of the disease, and COVID’s origins, Republicans have lobbied for intellectual freedom and information plurality.

Many GOP lawmakers slammed Facebook for banning posts that referenced the lab-leak hypothesis that COVID escaped via a laboratory accident in Wuhan, China, which is now considered mainstream and plausible.

In May, Facebook lifted the ban on lab-leak theory content as the explanation gained renewed traction and legitimacy with the public and government officials. While Facebook will no longer de-platform users for claiming that COVID was man-made, it is presumed that it will still combat alleged misinformation about the COVID vaccine in an effort to help encourage the hesitant to receive the shots.
