Rudy Giuliani’s Law Licensed Is Suspended By The State Of New York

Anyone that has been associated with President Trump has been attacked relentlessly for the last four years and that trend keeps continuing.

The State of New York has just suspended Trump’s attorney Rudy Giuliani from practicing law in New York for his comments over the 2020 elections.

In the 33 page statement by the state it read that Giuliani “communicated demonstrably false and misleading statement to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump”.

So essentially, the state of New York is punishing Giuliani for standing up against election fraud.

In Giuliani’s latest appearance on Newsmax he stated that if he was representing Hillary Clinton and not Donald J. Trump he would probably still be allowed  practice law in New York.

The Daily Mail had more on the story:

Giuliani had his law license suspended on Thursday for making ‘demonstrably false and misleading statements’ while pushing Donald Trump’s election fraud claims and ‘threatening public interest’.

‘[W]e conclude that there is uncontroverted evidence that respondent communicated demonstrably false and misleading statements to courts, lawmakers and the public at large in his capacity as lawyer for former President Donald J. Trump and the Trump campaign in connection with Trump’s failed effort at reelection in 2020,’ the 33-page decision from a New York appellate court read.

It claimed that the former New York mayor threatened ‘public interest’ in his capacity as Trump’s personal attorney and insisted his actions ‘warrant interim suspension from the practice of law.’

Giuliani was one of the figures in Trump’s inner circle who led the former president’s legal challenge to the 2020 presidential election results.

The court said Giuliani made numerous false statements about the voting in Arizona, Georgia and Pennsylvania, including that hundreds of thousands of absentee ballots or votes, including from dead people, had been improperly counted.

ABC 6 news covered the story too:

An appeals court suspended Rudy Giuliani from practicing law in New York because he made false statements while trying to get courts to overturn Donald Trump’s loss in the presidential race.

An attorney disciplinary committee said in its motion to suspend Giuliani’s license that there was “uncontroverted evidence” that Giuliani had made false statements to the courts, the public and lawmakers as he pushed theories that the election was stolen through fraud.

“This country is being torn apart by continued attacks on the legitimacy of the 2020 election and of our current president, Joseph R. Biden,” the committee wrote. “The hallmark of our democracy is predicated on free and fair elections. False statements intended to foment a loss of confidence in our elections and resulting loss of confidence in government generally damage the proper functioning of a free society.”

The ruling, signed Thursday, will prevent Giuliani from representing clients as a lawyer.

Giuliani recently went on Newsmax to react to his licensed being suspended, you can watch his reaction here:
